ProfitUI Reborn gone, default interface in place
 

I just updated with the new change from eqidb links to lootdb links. Seems now the interface has defaulted back to the original EQ interface.

I guess I should reinstall and see what happens?

This happened to me as well. I noticed two new updated files this afternoon from the autoupdater. My wife's computer didn't update yet, so I snagged the files from hers and I don't have the issue. The two files that were updated are:

UI\ProfitUI\_ProfitUI_StandardSearches.txt
UI\ProfitUI\InfoCenter\includes.xml

I have attached the two older files if anyone "needs" to play with this wonderful UI - like me :P

Just make sure to NOT update if you replace with the older files :) That is until we get an official fix on it :D

The problem is with the _ProfitUI_StandardSearches.txt file. The new lootdb link contains an unescaped &, which stuffs things up. Just open the file with notepad and the line that reads:

Change it to:

Yup killer of the UI and remember don't put & it in the infocenter notes either :P took me like 3 hours to find.

Mine is still broken even after fix. Only getting default interface. In fact mine went to default even before I did the update, so I wonder if there is something else going on?

yes, this would be unrelated. you probably tried editing some file and messed it up. try a clean install (see my sig).

No, I never touch anything, since I don't know the first thing about UI creation, but I did note that in the UI.log there were some entries about eq2map so I did a manual download of the entire eq2map install instead of using the updater and that fixed it. Apparently the auto-updater for eq2map is a bit flaky at present.

I just downloaded the manual install a couple hours ago , and the file in question contained eqidb links instead of lootdb links.
The old files posted above didn't work either. I got an error running the updater also.
