problems after clean install
 

I posted in a different thread but since it was not really related I figured I would start a separate one. I ran a clean install of profitui from the auto updater and after attempting to login I crash before I get loaded in the game with these errors in the ui.log:

Couldn't load .xml
:: Could not access resource InfoCenter/Miscellaneous/change_log.txt
:: Failed to load data from included resource: InfoCenter/Miscellaneous/change_log.txt
:: Could not access resource InfoCenter/.txt
:: Failed to load data from included resource: InfoCenter/.txt
:: Could not access resource eq2ui_custom_poifinder.xml
:: Failed to load data from included resource: eq2ui_custom_poifinder.xml
Encountered data outside of container tags

After adding the change_log.txt file by hand and removing the custom_poifinder line in eq2ui_custom_poifinder.xml I start the game up again and I get the following error:

Couldn't load .xml
:: Could not access resource InfoCenter/.txt
:: Failed to load data from included resource: InfoCenter/.txt

This error I can not seem to get rid of. I dont know xml and I have tried some random attempts to fix it by adding different text files it looks like the error is coming from the Epics folder under the ui/profitui/infocenter/Epics in the includes.xml file I have tried modifying the includes.xml code to point at a text file or even just remove the epics folder or the Epic line in the includes.xml file which results in just an error "Couldn't load .xml" in the ui.log file

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Just disregard the error statements in the log files unless something is not working.

Yeah its not working. I have a feeling it is being caused by something else because my default ui doesnt even work after I reinstalled eq2 so I tried to load up a different ui which all of them fail. The default ui just throws the error of couldnt load .xml I typically get to loading entities and then it just crashes to my desktop with no errors. I am assuming I am going to have to talk to sony techsupport but I really didnt want to... Not sure if anyone else has had this problem or not but any ideas would be appreciated.

These errors are no reason why the UI won't load. Your problem appears to be something else. Try a search on the official forums before contacting CS, crashing on the loading resources step sounds somewhat familiar, you may find something.

I did talk to a sony tech support guy via the forums and he seemed to get things squared away thank you for responding and thank you for the wonderful UI. I am enjoying it a lot.
