Chattabs locking when making/joining a group

Recently I have gotten a problem that starts to annoy me.

Whenever I join a group or make a group some of the chattabs are locking,
as in I cannot change to them or change options for them.

Ie. When I join a group the chat/tell/ooc windows are locked totally, if I am in
"chat" I cannot whatever I do move to "tells", I can see I have received tells,
but the tab is not accessable, and I cannot change other setting than lock/unlock.

If I rightclick I do not get the usual optionsmenu.

I have not changed anything at all in the default setup

Suggestion: cycle through UI modes using F10. Hitting it once should set the backgrounds of all visible windows to black so you can see them. Then hit Alt-G to bring up your group window. Odds on part of it's laying on top of the chat tabs, preventing you from clicking on them (the click goes to the group window instead). If there's a window overlaying the chat tabs, move it out of the way.

To get back to normal, hit F10 twice more. It cycles through the 3 UI modes one at a time in sequence: black backgrounds -> no UI windows -> normal UI.

Thank you so much you were so right about the groupwindow laying over
chattabs.

I am somewhat new to the game, so I did not even know you could make
all windows appear with black background with thepress of a key.

I am a happy camper again
