Problems starting EQ2 map updater
 

Hi there
I recently had to do a system restore on my computer (to a time when i had EQ2 map and it worked fine) and i went to use it and i got the following message: EQ2MAP Updater has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Now i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling about 4 times and i still get the same error message.

Any help would be much appreciated

You can try re-install .NET 2.0, if that don't work you probably has a messed up system :(

Mm I'm also getting the same error, I just updated my ProfitUI after yesterday's patch and went to update POI finder and Maps and i get the error for both programs. I'm using windows xp, never had this problem before.
