How do i get rid of the bar at the bottom of the screen ?

The one that says my attributes and mitigations and such

I have zero programming experience so opening files and looking for it myself is a daunting task and propably not too smart either

FAQ reading experience will be sufficient. ;)

I cant find anywhere it says anything about uninstalling

The only similar entry i find is about excluding files from the autoupdater, doesnt that only stop them from being autoupdated ?

This will be the same as uninstalling it ?

Im not interested in it simply being not visible, but still there


Edit: Yep, its still there, and when i move my mouse around on the bottom of the screen i get various pop ups with info from the bar

i want the bar GONE, not hidden

Exclude "_ProfitUI_BottomBar.xml" from the auto-updater as you learnt from the F.A.Q.

then

Delete "_ProfitUI_BottomBar.xml" from the profitUI directory

Gone and ignored!

But I take no responsibility if parts of the profitUI stop working as it is supposed to be a complete UI. I believe it is only the experiance window that must be kept at all costs, but I do not know if there is anything that will stop working if the bottom bar is removed.

Why is it you want it removed?

I wanted it gone because theres zero features of it i need, and i dont like having it there on the bottom of my screen.

To be honest though, i should just uninstall the whole UI as theres not many features i like, except the ability to cure people with clicking near their name in group

The "maintained" window is see through yet it is huge, takes maybe 10% of my screen and i cant interact with things behind it and i cant resize it

Same thing for the buffs and debuff windows

I dont like the intrusive market menu

I dont like the bar on top of the frame where it has my health, mana, xp, (the bar with status, power and health regen, etc)

I do like the quest window, i do like the persona window, i do like the quest tracker, and that 3 by 3 options menu where i can alter settings on the fly is pretty cute

I agree that is quite annoying when you have large windows open taking up space so you can't click anything. It is not something that is hard to fix though. Right click the window and make sure it is unlocked, sometimes it is easier to find the edge of the window if you set the background opacity down a little bit.

The bar above health/power is one of my favorites, you can set it to show runspeed (by changing no frame/titlebar or whatever in right click) so you can see at a glance if you are wearing your j-boots right now, or if you need to re-buff your sow or runspeed totem.

I don't need the bottom bar either, but there are a lot of great features in here once you get used to it.
