Changed Drive, but Updater still points to old drive (F:)
Recently changed around the EQ2 files and such. The game USED to run on a drive designated F:. That drive no longer exists, it is now on drive C: but I apparently haven't caught all the .ini files referencing the old location.
Here's the Error Trap: 1.0.17 Unknown Thread Error: mscorlib at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.Directory.InternalGetFileDirectoryNames(String path, String userPathOriginal, String searchPattern, Boolean includeFiles, Boolean includeDirs, SearchOption searchOption) at System.IO.Directory.GetDirectories(String path, String searchPattern, SearchOption searchOption) at System.IO.Directory.GetDirectories(String path) at EQ2MAPUpdater.Options.Options_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)Could not find a part of the path 'F:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II'. Going to keep digging, but any help is much appreciated. Thanks G |
In Options , have you changed the top most path "Everquest2 "to the new one ?

Seems I stumbled onto the fix...I wish I knew what I did. Usually I am pretty systematic, so I can share results - but at midnight and 14 hours of box fixin' isn't wasn't gonna happen! Thanks for your attention though.
