where is "savehotkeys" data stored?
I use the /savehotkeys and /loadhotkeys comands to maintain several hotkey configurations, and switch between them with macro keys. Recently I set up EQ on a second computer. I had assumed that the "/savehotkeys" data was saved server side and that I would be able to load hotkeys on the second computer with no problems. However, that doesn't seem to be the case as none of the "loadhotkeys" commands work. does anyone know what file might hold that data so i can replace it on the new computer?

They're stored locally in the main EQ2 folder and the file is the same as what you saved the hotkeys as.
For instance, if you did "/savehotkeys raiding" and "/savehotkeys soloing" you'd be looking for the following files: (root)\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\raiding (root)\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\soloing Note that by default the files are not given an extension, so they would just be called "raiding" and "soloing" not "raiding.ini" and "soloing.ini" or similar. |
