cures not available
 

Not sure what happened but yesterday my click to cure started telling me the spell or ability is no longer available.
It looks like its not detecting my class maybe? Cause on those nifty quick buttons for my reactives and heals it just parent.parent.parent...so on and so forth.

Anyone have any ideas?

Well did you change anything? - in that case see the red line in my sig.

Otherwise are you on a localized server and what's your subclass? SOE sometimes renames classes... Oh and which window where you trying to cure with, the group window?

It worked perfectly up until last night and then it just stopped working.

Yes, trying to use the group window. I ran an update and now i have a window where the group members names are stacked on top of each other as opposed to left to right like I did have but the problem persists.

Ok so I also notice the raid window detects my class just fine. i can cure through it and cast my single target heals/reactive. Just not the group window itself. Tried on multiple characters.

So I'm not sure what it is. Found an alternate group window for the time being :confused:

Ok, if the raid window works that means it's not subclass detection since both group and raid window use the same code.

But the fact that your group window variant changed from horizontal to vertical upon updating is strange. Are you using the auto-updater or did you download the manual install from this site as linked in my sig?

I used the updater. I tried manual installs from whatever version I had on my PC too. I got the horizontal one back but yea it still doesnt work. And it used to. Talked to some friends and they say it still works. Not sure what the issue is.

This is a newer group window than I remember having since the update. But regardless this doesn't work.
I'm sure its probably my fault in some way. But last night when I noticed it didn't work I hadn't done anything since Wednesday night when it did work. So I'm not at all sure what caused it to just stop working. And I hadn't run an update until after I noticed it stopped working - figuring to fix it.

I'm completely lost and not looking forward to an eventual and likely need for a full re-install :(

Yes, could you actually try to rename your ProfitUI folder (to anything you like, you find it in your Everquest II\UI\ folder) and then run the ProfitUI updater again? This will redownload the entire interface and make sure that you have all the right files.

I found the issue!
Admittedly I use a few pieces for different aspects of Profit that fill too much of my screen.
So with this fresh install I got to replace them one by one. and noticed the click to cure buttons and those nifty hotkeys for heals all worked perfectly with the fresh install. Until I replaced the eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml file.

That jacked up the click to cure again. So I went back and put the profit experience xml back and they worked again perfectly. Odd that I never had this issue before. But there now seems to be a definite link between the two. :(

Well, which is why the above was my first question to you and the reason I have the ugly red line in my sig.

Really people, show some reason and don't always try to hide the fact you messed up the UI yourself by ripping parts out of it. These constant threads from user not telling the whole truth cost me entirely too much time that I do not have.
