EQ@Map updater has encountered a problem.
and that it needs to close. Guess it is sorry for the inconvenience...
I keep getting this when I try to run the updater. How do I fix this? |
Try to reinstall .NET 2.0 and see it that helps :)
|
I get the same problem and I have .Net 2.0 installed.
But .net 2.0 keeps having an error when i try reinstalling it. |
This has to be a windows issue :(
If you can't get it to work you can try using Henchman instead :) http://www.eq2interface.com/download...2Henchman.html |
I would use that if it were easy to use... yay for programs where you can't just press one button (or no buttons like eq2maps) and get results. Hope this issue gets fixed.

There is most likely something wrong with your system, but i don't know what :(
I have 100,000+ downloads of the .NET 2.0 version, and this is not a common problem, even if some more exist. As i don't think it has something to do with the program , i don't know how to fix it :( |
Users of the ProfitUI Updater get that error when their Java installation is broken, so while it's a long shot I'd say it's the same issue with the EQ2MAP updater, only that .NET is broken. If you cannot install/reinstall .NET you should probably take that up with Microsoft support.
