access to file is denied
 

When I try to run the EQ2 map updater, it gives me an error:
Error Writing EQ2.ini File
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest II\eq2.ini' is denied.

There are 9 more lines, telling where.

This happened during an install that I did after restoring the system to a restore point that was before the install.

How do I fix this?

This sounds like a Vista issue. Try running as admin or disable UAC.
