turn off names
Is there a way to toggle off or dim the names over peoples head...specifically during raids?
|
Profit has some video options that you can toggle for when raiding/grouping/taking screenshots, but I haven't played with that yet.
You can remove the names by going to Options (Alt + O) and then User Interface and then Names and Chat bubbles. There should be a drop down box in there that says when to display names (on target, mouseover.....) I have mine set to Mouseover. I think the option you want is a check box called "Show group names" to be unchecked. That will only make the names show only if you target them, or if you mouse over them. |
Press the [V] on the ProfitUI startbutton cluster (or whatever you want to name it) to open the videosettings window. There you have all the options to disable names that are available in game (most are also available via Alt-O as Narzoo explained, but not all). I couldn't raid without that.

I always just do /show_subnames 0 in raids.. It turns off all but their name.. For some reason I have to see names, prob because it's easier to see who is messing up.. :P

That's the "Guild" button in the ProfitUI videocontrols window (because it turns off the guild tag).
If you want to type the command manually for whatever reason, Landiin made a typo, the correct command is this: /show_subname 0 |
Ah ha! Thanks much!
