ProfitUI Updater variant problem
 

I'm running 1.12 of the ProfitUI Updater and a current Sun 1.6 JVM. When I go to select variants of the maintained window or the skin, it stalls with an hourglass cursor. I can hit the OK button and get back to the main window, and when I go into variants again the line I double-clicked is lit in green, but at least in the case of the skin the files on disk weren't updated. I think the maintained window got updated on disk to the selected variant, but I still got the hourglass cursor for it. I've checked this on 3 different machines, all with slightly different revisions of the JVM, and on one of them I wiped the existing updater install, re-downloaded the installer from here and re-installed from scratch. No joy, still the hourglass cursor and the files aren't changed to the selected color ones.

This seems to be a relatively recent problem, I was mucking with skins last month IIRC (just prior to GU 43) and everything worked fine.

The variants files were not on my hard disk the last time I updated the files, so they did not get indexed and the updater didn't know where to get them. Should work once again...
