Hello. I am new to EQ2 and this website....(I was playing that other game that won't be mentioned) and I was wondering exactly how to install any UI to work on 1920x1200 settings. I have downloaded and installed three different mods, Profit - Laff Lite - Tyejae Steel bottom by Perdition, but when I start the game and load a ui, it goes crazy and all my windows are just scattered across the entire screen. Can anyone help me out with this?

Most custom UIs found here come prepackaged with preset uisettings.ini files for most commonly played resolutions (most files are named something similar to the 'normal' <SERVER>_<CHARACTER>_eq2_uisettings.ini naming convention for the file but contains the resolution in the name; i.e. 1024_768_eq2_uisettings.ini, 1280_1024_eq2_uisettings.ini, etc).

Just find the desired resolution file within the custom UI download package and rename it using the 'normal' naming convention mentioned above, then drop it in your base EQ2 directory and you should be ready to go.

If the custom UI you want to use does not have a preset file for the resolution you want to use, odds are you will need to manually arrange your windows. You might also want to be nice and send the UIs author the file once you do get it set up so s/he can add it to their UIs download.
