Chat Windows hidden
 

Did a search and couldn't find any solutions to this problem. I recently switched to the default UI setup using the included .ini files however the chat windows never appear until text hits the window. Right-clicking the area where the chat window is supposed to be does not provide any options. I have tried many different settings in the Window Settings area but the problem still occurs. I'm sure it's probably something simple but I can't find the answer.

Corrupt uisettings file, perhaps?

if the window does not appear until chat is entered, that means the window is set to auto fade. right click, then window properties should help.

I don't think it is that. Mine does it too...sometimes. Once every two/three days I think.

It makes no difference to me. If someone sends a tell to me, it shows, and if I want to type, I press enter.

Or maybe it is because I didn't set the "Frame and Titlebar" to None like the FAQ says :)

oops i forgot to include the frame and title bar when I directed the OP to the window properties. I got stuck on the fade. Well, at least its out there now ;)
