Yet another skin for profit ui...
Using the graphic elements from both Vert Reborn and Nyarlathotep's Streamlined UI (I'm not sure who created the graphics) I decided to make a universal skin usable in the Default ui, but designed for ProfitUI.
(Lately I've been in a PSCS3 mood) This is just a rough mockup I made on Saturday. Hope you like what you see!! =) ![]() |
Looking good!!
However I have a bias towards these titlebars to go with that frame and buttons: http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/a...6&d=1102548783 If you'd like like a copy of the oringinal "t_styles" template: http://www.eq2interface.com/download...etsIIBeta.html have fun modding! |

Yeah those are cool. I was thinking about using those instead, and kind of got stuck...but my conclusion is I'll just release one just like the screenshot next week or something. My beginning post was a fresh mockup and I wanted to know who the original graphics were made by. It seems like you were =P Unfortunately I want this to be a skin with as little .xml as possible, so I'll only be including .xml like commonelements.xml, windowelements.xml etc. I don't want anything that the user has to add a line in one of the .xml for. Of course 95% of the credit goes to the person who makes the graphics. |

He says he prefers those titlebars over the ones you use, and I agree. Apart from that nice work, I always liked that skin.
Why do you need to change .xml btw? |

I already know what I'm going to do with the titlebars. |
I don't get that, why is it not enough to just modify the .dds files for the graphics?

LMAO :D That bad huh? Drago: You should be able to use the templates to build the .dds files. But it's your reincarnation do what ya want (I'm just happy the thing is still useful to people.) About that UI if anyone cares: That UI was made before they "revamped" the way the skin was layed out.. I wanted to have "plugin graphic mods"; so I started separating everything into it's own files. The idea was to get all the buttons in one or two files all the frames in another, all the gauges in another.. etc.. I was pretty much able to release a variety of different graphics for buttons, gauges, frames, etc supplied through a common .dds template that people could mix and match just by dropping a .DDS into the image folder. I think the concept should still work. |
yeah I know, but I prefer just making the appropriate .dds files and then modding the .xml related.
I will definitely use t_styles for like all my reference |

Personally I prefer to edit as little xml as possible for the sake of compatibility, so recombining all of your files back into the layout of the default files would allow the user to only change the .dds without making xml changes. |

Looks pretty good, Drago. In fact, as soon as I'm able to play the game again, I'll probably scoop it up and use it! I've always been partial to black. Heck, about 80% of my clothing is black (and no, I'm not goth either :p;)). And seeing how my eyes seem to get more and more light sensitive the older I get, this skin will be easy to look at for me, too!
