the progressbars without it shrinking, and stretching like w/ rects????

I'm trying to do something and this is really making me irritated.

You cannot stop the fill graphic from strechting to the bar's size, so either set the correct size of the bar or resize the graphic if you need to keep it's aspect ratio. Not sure if that was your question though. :confused:
