Zone in to 1 room apt crash

I have ProfitUI reborn and eq2maps installed and since the installs I crash to character select screen everytime I try to zone into the single room apt in the game. The 2,3,4 bedroom apts zone in fine, it's only the single room apt that gives me trouble. after the crash, I pick my character and zone into the single room no problem from character select, but not in game. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Do you notice any mirrors near the door of the one-room apartment (more particularly, directly opposite the door)? The reason I ask is because I don't think this is a UI related issue. Instead, it may be tied to your video card/video settings.

I remember having a similar issue back when I got my first apartment which would cause the game to crash instantly upon zoning into my apartment (in which I had placed a mirror directly opposite the door). I went back and forth with SOE tech support and GMs trying to resolve the issue for about a month before it was finally figured out that it was my video card couldn't properly handle the reflective video settings (mirrors, water, etc.). Then once I went in and changed the necessary settings in the game options, everything was hunky-dory again.

My mirror is on the right wall when you enter the room not the wall you would be facing when entering, I will pick it up though and take it out and see if that helps. The weird thing is it's only the nettleville 1 room apt that crashes, my south quenos 2,3, and 4, room apts all zone in fine, and the 1 room apt in neriak zones is fine. It's weird, when I try to zone in I get the unloading screen, then the loading screen, and that is when it crashes. Lol I might just move my little alts to another part of the city. I thought it might be a corrupt loading file for the nettleville room, but not sure what it would be named in order to delete and do a full file scan to replace it. I do know it all started the night I installed ProfitUI and eq2maps, but as I love the UI and map features, I'll work around the problem until I find a way to fix it.

Your issue is not UI related, but maybe you used the video settings presets of ProfitUI and inadvertantly turned on something that makes you crash just as ShadowProwler suggested.

EDIT: ProfitUI is also forcing EQ2MAP to refresh its POIs upon zoning (to fix the missing POI issue default EQ2MAP has), if it's not the video settings you can try to rename eq2ui_hud_zoning.xml in your ProfitUI folder and see if that helps (this removes the EQ2MAP interaction).

Thanks guys I really appreciate the help, I did use the load ProfitUI settings and that did reconfigure my video settings. I tried changing the settings, but no luck, so I moved my alts to starcrest commune's cheap housing, and no more zone in problems, I did notice that in nettleville it always crashed when it got to the cache screen. I'm sure it's a simple video setting that I missed, but Starcrest is attached to south qeynos where my main is, just as nettleville is, so I just moved the alts. just a bulletin board and some books in the rooms anyways. Again thanks for all the assistance.
