EQ2Interface - unable to run EQ2Map on new installation

unable to run EQ2Map on new installation

New installation, unable to run EQ2Map.

Error msgs:
The procedure entry point GetRequestedRuntimeInfo could not be located in the dynamic link library mscoree.dll

-and-

C:\winnt\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

I've uninstalled all .Net software. v1.1, 2.0 and the EQ2Map install. Reinstalled 2.0, but map still didn't work so uninstalled all .Net and verified the C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\ folder was cleared of all versions. Then starting with 1.1 would install each from Windows Update. Then moved on to v2.0. After each piece, service pack, etc. I would reboot the computer just because today seems to be a bad day in computer land.

After the install is completed and we're selecting "Finish", the box is checked to run the EQ2Map Update. No matter if this box is checked or not, nothing seems to happen either. When it is supposed to run after the installation I don't get the error msgs but nothing else occurs either.

I'm now at the latest version of .Net and still getting the error messages above.

Still working through this problem. Tried using the v1.1 & v2.0 distributable file vice Windows Update for installation. Working backwards tried each previous version of EQ2Map from the archives. There seems to be considerable difference from the current release back to v1.0.6 but this version did work.

Troubleshooting (read as easter egging) continues.

1.0.6 still works but have a poor error handling. Is based on .NET 1.1
1.0.7-1.0.16 is based on .NET 2.0 only.
