Recent error (in-game problem)
Has anyone else started having a problem that if you have EQ2Maps installed and running for your character, if you go to loot anything (a mob, chest, or a lotto item) that you get a window stating something along the lines of "Loot[big long number] is incompatible with your UI mod. Please load the default UI"?
EQ2maps is the ONLY mod that I have - outside of that, completely standard UI and it's only happened within the last week, maybe 2 at the most. I get the error whether I have the Map open or closed. Even if I reload the UI, I cannot loot anything until I log out and back in - I get a "You are too busy to loot anything" message. Any advice on how to resolve this? Playing without my EQ2Maps is barely worth playing at all! :P |
You probably have EQ2MAP installed incorrectly. Reinstall it.
By default a pure EQ2MAP-only installation only installs the map file and thus would not have a loot window. It's possible that you copied the default folder and installed into it which would cause this issue. A fresh reinstall should solve your problem =) |
Try to delete the EQ2MAP folder in your Everquest2/UI folder.
Then re-run the updater :) |
Thanks guys - I tried both solutions and it seems to have fixed me up. I just don't know which one actually did the trick. :)
