G15 Screen not working with GU43 (solution: update your drivers)
 

I am using Profit, the latest version and none of the GU43 features like the spell countdown nor the G15 screen seem to be working. Anyone got any ideas why not?

Why on earth would you post that in the "Site Help & Suggestions" sub-forum? Moved...

Then, the most likely answer to your question is that your server does not have GU43 yet. :eek:

At the risk of being laughed at. The 4 buttons (which I never used after 2 years of owning three of the G-15's) are black and blend in with the keyboard. (coughs) their easy to mix. If you have the Everquest II listed on the display, it should work.

Well I do believe Nagafen has GU43 since I downloaded it the other day I believe...

I actually had this too yesterday. Today, I reinstalled my custom UI and eq2 map updater as well as the POI. Either one of those things or the patch that Sony did today fixed it for me. *shrug* Sorry that I cant tell you which one did it though.

Also, there was an update for the Keyboard in December, be sure to get that from the site. My update file didnt recognize it and kept telling me that there was no new updates.

Does it work with the Standard UI skin?

It didn't work for me either. Downloading the latest drivers from Logitech fixed it.

Lol. I had to fix so many things after the GU, that I have no idea which one did it for me... It is why I mentioned them all... :p

Well I haven't tried download the latest driver yet, I will try that in the morning.

So far I have tried:
Auto Updating ProfitUI
Clean install of ProfitUI 4.6
Clean install of EQII Map & updated

to no avail... :(

anyone know where I can get win2k drivers for the g15? logitech site only has xp and vista.

Considering the System Requirements read as "Windows® XP, Windows Vista™" I don't think you will find any. At best I would try using the XP drivers, but no idea if they will work, or install.

I had the g15 installed on my win2k system since it was released. Up until now, everything always worked. I have other mods for the g15 that display system parameters like cpu temp, chassis temp, mem load, cpu load. then on another screen it shows teamspeak info (too bad they didnt make a ventrillo mod as that is what my guild uses these days). I even made a g15 profile that gets auto activated every time I launch eq2 (it auto detects and everything). However, nothing from the new eq2 update ever gets displayed on the lcd.

I went to logitech, and all they had available was xp and vista drivers (as I posted before). I tried the xp drivers, but they wont install. I guess it does an OS check, and since that fails, it wont proceed. the 32 bit drivers should work though... but they dont :(

Ventrilo 3.0 has built in G15 support, It's on the Global Tab in Setup.
