Absolute n00b with a question....
 

Greetings!

My wife has been asking and asking for me to load Profit for her, but I admit I've been scurd since I am a n00b at loading this kind of stuff.

Good news! Got Profit successfully loaded on my computer this morning (trial and error ftw) but I had practically no time to play with it before I had to leave for work. I was able to move a couple things around but I was unable to move any of my skill hotbars. I checked for locked window and click through and everything should be good but I cannot seem to get hold of a hotbar to move it around.

Are some hotbars fixed and not moveable or am I missing something (likely)?

I would, of course, figure it all out myself tonight but we're raiding as soon as I get home (/cries for lost dps tonight).

im kinda new to this as well...but I THINK (dont quote me) that if you push f10 once it will make all the windows black so u can see where everything is. I hope that works for you:)

Thanks for the response, though it is not a question of seeing the windows but getting them moved.

I seem to be able to move some but the hotbar set up that defaults to the bottom middle of the screen does not allow me to move anything.

Is this fixed in place for this spot or what am I missing?

Thanks gm9, though my answer wasn't there. I checked each window setting configuration this morning and both unlocked and unchecked click-through for each hotbar I was attempting to move. I checked hotbar settings as well.

I'll take a look before the raid tonight to see if I can get it to work. If not, I'll post more specifics later.

Click on the spinner number, and in the far right/bottom a small square box will appear. This is where you need to click and hold to move hotbars (when window is unlocked).

You must have missed the FAQ entry titled "Hotbars". :p
