More Icons for macros
 

I was wondering if anyone would be able to have more icons for macros avaiable, not sure if it is possible, but if all the icons from skills and such were available to chosse from, that would be awsome :)

two ways you can do this, both make you lose some current available icons

1. go to your customuifolder/images/icons

Add a file called icon_ms1.dds. This will replace the all the current icons. You can grab an icon page from like spells or items or whatever.

2. Open the ui\default\images\icons\icon_ms1.dds
copy paste some icons onto it. Save it in customuifolder/images/icons with the same filename

As for increasing the number, we'd need the SOE devs to help out. Repost to Wish List. :)

Has any one had any luck with this? Ive tried and all I end up with odd colored backgrounds on my hoykeys and inventory slots. I would love if some one posted an alternate set of macro icons for download*cough*please*cough.

post 36 icons and ill make a new DDS with them all in it.

What size / color depth / format / resolution would these need to be in?

just so you know it can be done. this will change the icons on your hotbar.

haha, I think he wants all the icons that appear on hotbars, not some random images

not exactly what i was looking for, but seems that what i want cant be done.. oh well, i use what you made as it has some better choices :D
