Unofficial Maps In Game-Quest Listing
Please do not post ANYTHING besides quests in here.
Many people by now are part of, are using, or are impatietly waiting for the Unauthorized Maps to be completed. To help expedite the process, I'm focusing on getting the ingame quests implemented into it and I'm really going to need everybody's help. What I am requesting: When you are working on a quest, document all of the information about it and post in here so I can punch them in. In addition to the following please add any special information that will help me put it all together or help players complete it. List everything in the order that it needs to be completed.
Bob Brassballs in Wailing Caves (129,-123,38) wants you to kill 3 gnolls (they have to be in Wailing Caves. Best place to find them could be (151,83,-123). You must then visit Jimmy Ishornee in N. Freeport (5,-1,-234). Then return to Bob Brassballs. Reward was 24g, 3s and an Atlas of Stupidquests. Thank you all for your assistance and support on this massive undertaking. At the end of your post you may post your name/guild/server or whatever and be placed in the credits for your tremendous help. Just put a NAME: tag on your post to make sure it gets seen. |
I'm guessing your using the dark style? White text doesn't show up great on light background :(
Also uhhh.... http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/ Quest DB galore. Also I think allakhazam has a site for EQ2... eq2.allakhazam.com? |
Very few the quests on those sites or any others ive found have enough info for me.

A Strange Stone Wedge
Examining "a dull wedge", a LORE NO TRADE NO VALUE item that is randomly dropped in a chest in the Commonlands (I got mine from a random Bloodskull warrior, then found another on a tortured soul), gives you this quest. The first step is to kill Sandstone Giants (1397, -36, -171, in the canyons outside Fallen Gate) and gather 5 living whetstones (quest dings) from them. Then you need to inspect the axe again. Next step is to head to the Mariner's Dock, and then swim straight out there to around -1050, -148.20, -830, and if you tab a bit you should target "a pirate/raider/cleric of gunthak". The pirates are the one you want. At the time of writing this (Jan 16th, 2005), it's possible to aggro the pirates with a long range spell and then fight with you on the surface, and them on the seabed. This will probably be fixed with a z-axis fix later, so you'll probably NEED a cleric's waterbreath spell or a Water Stone for this part. After killing 6 pirates, and taking their peg legs (quest dings), inspect the axe again to receive the next step. You need to gather 5 leathery elephant hides, which are quest dings off of any elephants. Not elephant calfs, though. The ones around the Dog Pond (-1042, -48, -245) work fine. Once you gain all 5 hides, inspect the dull wedge one last time, and you shall receive: Chickenbane ATTUNEABLE +2agi +1str +4health +4power Dual Wield 3-9 damage at level 17 1.2 sec delay Skill: Axe 60-85 Weight: 2.0 A Ring's Calling Examining "The Ring of Valmarr", a LORE NO TRADE item that is randomly dropped in a chest in the Commonlands (I got mine from a Monitor Behemoth, but accounts of it dropping from just about anything are floating around), gives you this quest. The first step is to explore the Ruins of Valmarr, find a certain tower, and run to the top for a location quest ding. The tower can be located at roughly 518.57, -48.04, 189.13. It's the one that has 2 Fallen Crusaders, level 15-17 aggro skellies, outside. It is very possible to just run in, run to the top, run back down, and flee with Sprint without death, but it's a lot safer to kill/get someone else to kill the guards first. After you get that step done, inspect the Ring of Valmarr again to get the next step, which is to kill an unnamed amount of the Fallen Crusaders. The number is actually somewhere between 14-20. You have a choice here, you can either fight the ones around the Ruins of Valmarr, or you can cheat and head down into Thieve's Way, and head to the Den of the Darkblade Assassins (-111.30, 0.18, 166.26). Just past the door, there's an undead spawn, either Corruptors or Fallen Crusaders. These ones count towards your total, and are much lower in level. Once that step is complete, inspect the ring once more to receive the: Awakened Ring of Valmarr ATTUNEABLE +2sta +3wis +6health +9power Skill: Magic Affinity, 70-100 Slot: Ring Weight: 0.5 |
you forgot to post the middle numbers!
(34, 22, 754) That DOES matter in this situation, as making a wisp to that location will not go to the right place without that middle number... ________ Missfamous live |

I'll check into it when I log in next. Edit: Fixed. And, another one~! Dealing with the Bloodskulls Seargent Borus in the Commonlands (-938.07, -48.04, 22.58) gives you this repeatable quest. It's simple, kill 6 of whichever type of Bloodskull orcs he asks for, and then return to him for a small coin/exp reward. The Warriors and Scouts can be found solo around -770.77, -47.84, 93.79, while the caster types are more south and west then them. I'm working on the Freeport - > Qeynos betrayal too, so as soon as I do it all myself I'll type it up. |

The Journey is Half the Fun
This is a Heritage quest, and is one of a series. We do not have complete information at this time. We do know that it starts from Cru Naseto in Antonica though. He will give you 14 minutes to visit the following locations and return to him: Tower of Vhalen: -1300, +38, +45 Keep of the Gnollslayers: -2121, -46, +415 Ruins of Caltorsis: Near the shores, surrounded by undead Tower of the Oracles: -1032, +14 Keep of the Ardent Needle: -403, +15, -304 near Knight Grel Stoneshearer If you manage to beat the timer he will send you to Commonlands to speak to Sian D'ior (-948, -49, -58). From Freeport head west along the road until you come to the tower and wall where Sergeant Borus is stationed. Sian D'ior is found on the opposite side of Sergeant Borus, a bit hidden away. Speak to him. He will send you on a race to the following locations: 1. Crossroads: -488, -45, -317 2. Lucan's Mount: +10, -15, -741 3. Zarvonn's Tower: +896, -45, -518 4. Ring of Nature: +686, -60, -95 5. Ruins of Valmarr: +378, -47, +338 6. Turmoil Cemetary: -1301, -70, +320 7. Return to Sian D'ior The third leg of this quest starts with Lessa Gentare in the Thundering Steppes. She is located at the docks. This step may be impossible without evac. You must visit: 1. Thundermist Village (+550, -10, -27) 2. Deadview Pass 3. Shrine of the Sirens - About 50m out from beach as far west as you can go on the map (the little bump on beach) 4. Shrine of Decay 5. Coldwind Cove 6. Grave Poll 7. Return to Lessa The fourth leg is given by an NPC at the Commonlands gate in the Nektulos Forest (S'to something I believe, need actual name). He will give you fifteen minutes to visit: 1. Behemoth Pond - Near -735, +141, -1990 2. Gargoyle Gorge 3. Nektropos Castle - Far northeast corner (need loc) 4. N'Marr's Ascent - Near -398, 1, -1235 5. D'Abbth Bridge 6. Port Naythex - Near +661, -1, -271 7. Return to NPC The next leg is in Zek (need NPC name). This time you will need to run from: Grove Stones - Druid Ring (+228, +14, +93) Charred Vale - Scorched area at the Zek bridge (need loc) Deathfist Lookout - Top of the large winding rock at Access Bridge of Zek - The bridge before Citadel (need loc) Deathfist Citadel - Near -162.16, -25.11, -615.68 Spirit Lake - Don't touch the water (-58.5, -3.65, -71.6) Deathfist Quarry - You must take the elevator down at the mines at +343, -114, -118.5 From there you must go to the Enchanted Lands and speak to Banoo Corest at the Granary. You only receive 8 minutes for this leg of the race. Locations are as follows: 1. Runnyeye Ward 2. Tagglefoot Farms 3. Camp Ghobber (Nightblood Tower on your overland map) 4. Goblin Pass 5. Lookout Stump The ward is just north of the granary, it's the big totem on the hill before the holes in the Wall. Tagglefoot Farms is along the river, right next to Foomby for the EE bag quest. Camp Ghobber is way to the NE of the map, looks like a tower with a bunch of spike barricades around it. Think Orcs in Warcraft type building. From there, as the other poster said, just evac and run the last two steps. Lookout Stump is marked as Halfling Lookout Point on your overland map, and the goblin pass is just north of that, over the ridge and around the edge of the mountain. The next leg after this is in the Feerrott. This leg is given by Chon Ar'edij. After exiting the tunnel from the docks you can just hug the left wall to visit him. You must visit: 1. Temple of Alliz (-301, -7, +819) 2. Ruins of Thule (-729, -2.6, +823) 3. Alliz Tae Outpost (-1221, +2.82, +688) 4. Ulguth Bridge (-1198, -3.8, +430) 5. Tower of Vul (-1018, 0, +488) 6. Altar of the Four Cannons (-719, +6, +195) 7. Murdunk's Fall (-265, +5, +140) 8. One concern regarding all this information. I, in no way, mean to be discouraging but is the idea here to show all this quest info only if that quest is active? If not, this seems like it could crowd our maps very very quickly and mostly with quests we either 1. don't need or 2. have already completed.
Perhaps, if this cannot be linked to the active quest, there could be a version of the maps released without all the quest NPCs? |
I've completed almost 400 quests. Would you like me to post all of them here?
