In game links not working
 

Cannot get my ingame links to work in chat windows. It will link from guild windows but not chat. Is there anything can do to disable something to get this to work. Until its fixed.

Works fine here and in any case is controlled by the client, not the custom ui, so no idea why it would not be working.

thankyou g Ill try figuring it out been doing it on and off since epic patch thought it might be profit so posted. Now I know.

I noticed this also, what i found out that somehow my chat windows got set to click through enable, the only way links would work if i clicked directly on the actual text not in a open area like the center of an "O" so check your window configuartion btw I use fetishnightfall but am thinking of switching to profit

I am having a similar issue not sure if it is exactly the same or if it has the same reason behind it but I cannot link anything from chat either. I try the old way like you did in EQ1 by clicking on the picture in the examine window but that doesnt work for me anymore. The only way I can link is if I shift click on a link from guild events or chat and then it only works if that is what I start with thus it goes to whatever chat is defaulted to in my chat window. For example I can get the cursor in my chat bar where you type what you want to say and shift click on another link in chat form and get it to pop onto the line, but, if I put /tell soandso and try to shift click I get nothing. Anybody have any ideas, this is really a pain and any help would be greatly appreciated :(

I've had an issue like that before.

The issue is you have your first 'examine' window off screen and so clicking hte link does... nothing, because its opening it offscreen and so you don't see it. Resetting your windows location should solve the issue, it did for me =)
