New pet options on pet window
 

hi this is just a quick question as i can't seem to find an answer and am not sure if i am doing anything wrong??

I have a coercer and once i have charmed a pet the 'ranged' and 'melee' buttons work great however when i click the 'pet options' button nothing happens and it says i currently do not have a pet in my chat window....

am i doing anything wrong or is there nothing i can change in pet options with a charmed pet?

(what i was hoping was to have protect self and protect me always off by defualt....don't know if that is possible)

Nothing I can do, the M/R buttons are mine, but the pet options window was added by SOE and I did not modify it, I just added a button to open it, and all it's doing is issuing the command /petoptions. You should /bug it (it might be by design, sounds like a bug to me though).

By the way, just testing it on my necro, with deity pet and summoned pet out there the window does not even show (without chat message), I bugged that as well.

could it be something snuck in the UI somewhere?

I changed my eq2.ini to use the default UI instead of Profit and /petoptions worked fine there.

They seemed to have fixed it from what i saw on a raid... at least the petoptions button worked on a fresh pet after i died without a diety pet up.

hmm that seems to be where the bug is. if you have more than 1 pet up, like your diety pet and a summoner pet, it wont pop up.

yes, sorry, my post above was a bit unclear on that I think.

It worked fine for a day now itrs back to not working... bah SoE!
