How do I use EQ2MAP & Profitui?
 

Is there a way to use Profitui and EQ2Map at the same time? So far I can only get 1 of them to work at a time. I am sure there is a simple trick I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.

I have followed all the directions in the FAQ and I can't get either one to work properly right now. All I can get from the maps is the basic terrian and some yellow dots and arrows marking the major places in a zone. And I can't get the UI to work at all. But have not given up yet, my mom got my hooked on teh profit ui when i would play at her place, but she isn't around to help me figure out what i am doing wrong.

Make sure when you're using the updater it is pointing to your ProfitUI directory. If it is pointing to "EQ2MAP" then you messed up somewhere -- delete everything in your UI directory except the default folder and delete the eq2.ini file in your eq2 root directory. Then follow gm9's instructions step by step and the updater should be pointing to your profit UI directory.

what lordebon said - and also with respect to the main ProfitUI, as I understand your post that ProfitUI itself does not work either.
