profit UI auto updater and xp 64 bit
 

I tried all your "fixes" it doesn't work, nothing does. I get the same "cannot connect" error regardless of if I have a firewall running or not, and I added the string to the imhosts file in my system32 folder, that didn't work either.


I'd like to be able to update this UI but if I can't I guess use someone elses, or go back to the pOS default /shudder.

Just in case that isn't a typo, it needs to go into the "hosts" file, not the "lmhosts.sam" file.

Otherwise no idea. You can still use the manual download of course.
