Exporting Player window?

Is there anyway to export just the Player/Target/Implied Target/Group windows from this Ui without Breaking them? :)

I assume I'd just need the xml files for the 4 sets, then the graphics file, but I'm brand new to EQ2 interfaces. :)

Thanks. :)

You'll need the xml files for those windows, plus any fetish style and font files that they rely on (and have to make sure those font and style files are properly included in the right place, likely eq2ui.xml)

that makes sense, but how do i read xml to know which files i need? :P

You can just open them in notepad =)

My suggestion would be this: copy the ones you want plus any files that don't overwrite anything and then make sure they're listed in the eq2ui.xml if needed.

ROFL Thanks. :P I knew i could open them in notepad. :) I just don't understand what i'm reading... :P

Let me find an example here. :P

The impliedtarget.xml file has this in it:

Quote:

<Text AbsorbsInput="false" actiontype="Target" Color="#00CCFF" DynamicData="/GameData.ImpliedTarget.Power" Font="/Fetish.Fonts.FontArial13T" LocalText="100%"
However, the unzipped FetishUI folder only has a font called FonArial14T, I can not find a 13T font file.

Actually that is just another XML file, which is just setting the font to Arial, at a font size of 13. :P

So I seem to be tricking myself into making this harder than I should be, all i have to do now, is find the Graphic names I need, and I should be set. :P

A-ha I think I have it figured out...

I'm going to need the following xml files:

mainhud_player/group/target/impliedtarget
fetishstyles

with the following images
fetish_bars.dds
_simple_fetish_bars.dds
_ribbed_fetish_bars.dds

Sounds about right.

If it references a file that you can't find check and make sure it's not included in the default directory. Files that are 'default' generally aren't included again (as that just wastes space, and the game automatically looks in the default for any files included in the eq2ui.ini hierarchy if they're not found in the custom ui folder).

_simple_fetish_bars.dds
_ribbed_fetish_bars.dds
are optional bar graphics, you don't need them if you want the standard meter look.

You'll also need to add an include for fetishstyles to the eq2ui.xml file. Just duplicate one of the existing includes and change the file reference.
