If you should be on the list apply with the directions below and Quib can approve you.

People who want to be part of the project team can request in the usercp under Group Memberships.

Currently Quib is the team leader and can approve / remove who is on the project team by going to the same place. He will have extra controls. There can be more then 1 team leader so PM me Quib if you want some one else to be a leader too.

Team Project members have access to upload files into the offcial download area for their project. No one else can upload to that area but members of the team. In the downloads area under the team download area you have access to upload/edit/delete your own files. You also have the ability to open/close, delete own threads, delete own posts in this forum. So just a couple more options. This should be kept in mind when makeing some one a team member that they will have this type of access to the project.

I guess it only shows the list for current team members.

this happens for me too, is it a private usergroup where only members can see the members?

Hm, well the team list won't be secretive or anything, will probably keep a stickied thread with that list in the forum. I'll go through all the options and see how things work then decide if just the basic team will have full upload ability, or possibly allow the basic and extended team. Just need to see how secure stuff is from tampering if someone gets angry and that sort of stuff.

It will probably just be the basic team to keep things simple and confined. Now that we have our own download area, keeping add-ons and mods to our project organized will be easier.

I'll have to write an addon that lists team members. So every one can see whos in what team. The user group will just be fore core team members you want to allow access to the downloads area. Currently files are auto approved but if your team gets really large (or abbuse happens) I may go back to having to approve them.

I must pipe in with a plea to allow users who wish to remain 'cutting edge' on the projects to view and download the posted files :) I could live with not being able to post in the dev thread, but I want to read it! :)

I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't follow the progress of this mod on an hourly basis (pretty much, yeah) and get updates as they are posted.

Oh yeah, somehow I didn't get your name into the credits Killarny! Why didn't you slap me? Between cheering us on, and contributing quest data for Eloa, you clearly deserve honorable mention...

I'm flattered that you'd consider putting me on the credits, but I don't feel that I've done anything much more than sit around thinking up ideas - I'm not sure that is a mentionable contribution :P

Currently there is only 1 forum for this project and I think 1 forum will be big enough. So you see everything they do, you can upload/download files on the forum but you can only download files from the downloads area for EQ2MAPS unless your a core project member.

So you can still contribute with out being an offical team member.
