Some small Questions
 
How do you put the zones onthe maps? that part of the program that you use to make the DDS's? Also how would i go about adding maps to this?

ignore that, LOL. Looked at the XML and i see how it is done, LOTS of work by the looks of it, i greatly apreciate the efforts!

Points of Interest describes the icon overlays for antonica and commonlands...slowing adding this overlay to all original maps.

:confused: i downloaded the maps and i think they are awsome...but...what it shows as the moving marker is a big white square, how can i fix this

make sure the images are in the right place...icons go in \images\icons

OK, pls read the read me file for the mod.

ok i did the same thing. ok your ui folder is named "Folder" inside this fold you need a folder called "images" and inside this folder you need 2 folders 1 named "maps" and 1 named "icons" now the icon_map3.dds goes into the icons folder not in the images folder. and the maps goes in the maps folder. if all you have is this mod you should have the eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml file in your main ui folder in this example is call "Folder" and then a folder called "images" then inside the "images folder should only be 2 folders no files "images" "icons". i no i make run on sentences and my grammer sucs.
i hope this helps any1 having problems.

and btw GREAT JOB!!! ON THE MOD!!!

well i dont know , i checked it over at least 6 times to be sure everything was in the right place and still i have a white square instead of an arrow, i even followed each step 1 at a time to be sure i didnt miss something...anyway the marker that shows to be me ( white square ) looks like im a sugar cube running from the candy man :p

This is a great mod.

However, I am a little confused... Are the only maps that are done the Antonica, and other lower level maps?

I thought at one point you had maps of zones that do not display in game?

Anyway, if there are other maps available could you please point me in the right direction?

if all you are getting is a white square then you have some files in the improper location.

you should have under your <whatever you are calling your mods folder>: an images folder

in that images folder you need: an icons folder and a maps folder

the icons folder has one file: icon_map3.dds

the maps folder ahs all the map files: i.e. map_blackburrow2.dds

i really need to get on learning VB...going to write a script that does all that **** for you. Does it all completely if you dont have any mods and asks you for mod folder if you do have one.

First of all, I have to appreciate the great work have done by you guys. Very awesome job and idea. I have downloaded this mob, installed it, and everything works just great. However, after I installed this mob, I had problem to become un-anonymous in the game. I never turned on anonymous on, but I found out that I have it turned on and it can't be turned off. I don't know if that's a problem cause by this mob. I will uninstall this mob tonite (by switching back to my original files) and see if that fix the problem. Will post further information.

This mod wouldn't have anything to do with your anonymous troubles. That being said, a UI piece COULD affect /anonymous, but I can assure you this one doesn't nor do any UI pieces posted so far at this website.

Certianally wouldn't expect it too. Most bugs that exist in the mods on this site affect everyone. One stat strip mod removes the ability to see the locked icons on mobs when someone else is in the encounter. But I think that bug affects everyone that uses that mob. I have had no problems using this map mod.

there are like 20 maps in this mod.

Hoping to add more as we go. Those maps would be the most commonly used so far.

Now that u have added a few more maps what is needed to update? Should I replace all the files or just the maps and icons? Thanx

I tried to uninstall the mob n i could turn off anonymous..... any idea? anyways i will still use this mob, very helpful mob. i wouldnt care as much if i m anonymous or not. once again thz for your great job. can't wait for the T4, T5 zone updates =). Way to go~~~~!!!!

:) well i ran the full scan files at start of page and now my map is perfect not sure why it didnt catch it at first but im very pleased with the map..very awsome job done on the whole map making i bow to all involved and ty all very much for your time in making it.

Excellent modification!

I looked at your files and it seems pretty streightforward to add new maps to the xml.

One thing I noted when playing around with the XML: You can use decimal numbers if you want to get your coordinate system more accurate. (for smaller maps)

Hey I can't figure out how the hell you made it ignore escape (no escape blocker I can find anyway), and I want escape to work again lol. What do I change?

Euda, you'd need to take WC_CloseButton_, rename it to WC_CloseButton, then move it out from inside of WC_Titlebar to the main page object to be functional again.

Dynamically Updating Coordinates
 
I love the mod by the way. Is there any way to have my char's current coordinates display in the title bar, which would change dynamically as I move?
