Where to post add-ons and updates?
 

My guild leader uses ThorUI, and asked me if I could futz with it a bit to keep it functional. Because she is a dear and wonderful friend, I agreed, and she sent me her entire custom UI folder.

Since she'd already replaced pieces that broke in past GUs, I started with the bank mod, and managed to get it working on Test. But there's no option to post an add-on from the ThorUI. Should I just put it under the Bank mods, with a note that it's based on the Thor bank?

Any advise would be highly appreciated!

When you upload an interface it says on addons:

Since Faetyl has only vanished for 4 months so far I think I'll not apply that rule for a while yet (PM Dolby if you think it should already be applied, I'll not make that call).

If you update will work outside of ThorUI, I'd say post it in the general bank mods section, if it will only work in ThorUI, I'd say post it in the patches and addons section. That's just a suggestion though.

And if you keep updating ThorUI, you can of course also post a "Reborn" version of the entire set or something like that. ;)

I want to give Lodrelhai a huge thanks for picking up the reigns and keeping this UI alive. I've been using it since it came out and the thought of changing UIs now after all these years was depressing.

Have a beer on me. Better yet, have a case, you earned it.

thanks for picking up the reings on this great UI, Ive used it since i started playing and really like it.

Where are the updates located at now? Ive deleted the old html files that dont work due to LU's and replaced them with default windows but i really dont like the look of them. thanks

Unfortunately I deleted my Thor UI in order to do the new update. Can I get the complete UI through the bank mods? I can copy it all from my laptop but that's such a pain.

PS: Why is Thor the only UI of its kind? You would think with all of us who prefer that type of UI there would be something along the same lines? I guess you just can't improve on perfection much.

How likely is that do you think? Exactly. Not at all.

Call me you will. I have been spoiled by Thor's UI. I downloaded another UI bank window but I miss the little button that opens and closes all the bags in my inventory and bank at the same time. I know there must be a shortcut to this. Could someone give a tip?

I did copy all my UI files from my laptop to my main system. I have Thor again.
