Is it just me or have we lost some functionality with the Numpad since the latest LU?

Options>Controls>Keyboard Settings>Allow numpad for text input

I've reset to default settings to make sure it wasn't anything on my end...
(aka no eq2.ini and deleted the characters uisettings file before login and didn't apply and presets)

Unable to bind any keys to the numpad now.
It says "unknown"

P.S. Thanks goes to Margana of the Unrest server for finding this.

I cant use Numpad anymore either, used to use it to type numbers, of course, but will not do that anymore, even if the checkbox next to "allow numpad for...." is checked.

Stranger's issue is solved in the post the link jumps to directly, a workaround for Faethyl's issue is on the first page of that thread.

On a related note, there's also a bug when you use a volume page in any window it will catch keyboard input from the cursor keys once you click anywhere on the page. My current workaround is to enable the volume page OnHoverIn and disable it OnHoverOut.

I /bug my "known issues" and some other issues regularly - I'd hope that he sees it easier that way.

But you are right, I should post it to the bug forum as well.

indeed, switching off "allow numpad...." worked like a charm:)

Just to clarify, still can't map to numpad since LU no matter how we toggle the checkbox.

I believe there was also a workaround for the mapping problem at the beginning of the thread I linked which is supposedly working, but I haven't tried this yet.

The work-a-round gets overwritten at any option/resolution change.

This issue was mostly fixed in GU27. Only Shift+Numpad combinations are still broken.
