Fens Map strange behavior

1 Attachment(s)
I have a fens map that is showing 5 zones to Kunzar jungle all along zone lines. Also showing thuuga entrance in middle of rillis and many other oddities.

I redownloaded all maps. Cleared the cache and even uninstalled and reinstalled the eq2maps but still when this map is brought up its showing these.

The problem is not on your end. There have been a few changes to SOE POIs and it looks like there's a bug in the software that outputs the POI files. What you are seeing is duplicates of the SOE POIs: If you look closely, the POI #s of the misplaced zone POIs are exactly the same as those to the left and down where they belong.

Stay tuned, we should hopefully get this fixed shortly.

Did Lordebon volunteer there for the coding? ;)

Our code is perfectly fine (I designed it on purpose for map links to be duplicates of POIs), what happened is that SOE apparently decided the map for Fens was too big and so they shrunk it down. That displaced the map links because EQ2MAP is using SOE's map for that zone.

I fixed up the ingame map but still need to update the website map, so web POIs will be displaced until I get around to do that.

If you see this happening in any other zones please let us know.

EDIT: Actually I updated the website map right away.

I know php decently well, so I'm willing to take on a coding role if I'm needed in that regard. The website part of EQ2MAP certainly has avenues for improvement.

But anywhoo, silly SOE and resizing the map later ;).
