Waypoint macro

Was wondering if there was a way to create a /waypoint macro that would poll the clipboard every time you used it? My thinking in this is, go to the Wiki, copy coords from the website, go back into the game and click the macro and poof, you have your trail.

You don't have a / command to paste text ingame.
You can use ctrl+v to paste from clipboard.

You need a little effort to do what you want :
You need to install an extension in your browsers like https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...e-text-to-file for Chrome, and parameter it to write allways the same file.

You can then use a macro to use the file /do_file_commands c:\blablabla.txt

But you need to find a way to remove the / inside the file before using it in the macro.
If the file contains after the copy :
/waypoint xxx,yyy,zzz

The file content should be :
waypoint xxx,yyy,zzz

to work with the /do_file_commands.

Right now, the wiki's COPY button copies "/waypoint X Z Y" to your clipboard.

All you have to do to use it is click in a chat window and CTRL-V, then enter. I would think that losing a hotkey to some macro would be a detriment, and I can't see how it would improve things.
