the mainHUD window is not compatilable (error message)
 

When i try to open my mail it says "the mainHUD window is not compatilable with the current client"

after the update this morning.

I'm having the same message. I'm on .6 but was wondering if .7 addressed this bug.

Just downlaoded newest version, didn't help.
I've deleted my MAINhu mail file, hopefully that will cure this problem untill it gets fixed

also getting a to busy to do a merchant transaction at any time along with the mailbox issue

I am having same problem now. Cannot get mail..

I d/l the latest rev and everything seems to work except the mail window. Once you click on a mailbox you're hosed. Thanks SoE for the stealth patches like the one this morning.

Just delete your mainhud mail file, this will fix the issue until there is an update.

Yup, that worked for me. SoE apparently added a Spam tab to the mail window.

Thanks for the information guys, I was not aware of that change. I will take a look at that window when I get home from work.

As posted above, the current workaround is to delete the file eq2ui_mainhud_mail.xml from your ProfitUI folder.

Mail & Skills not working
 

In addition to the mail problem, also under the skills tab, no skills are shown for class or general. All that is shown is the class background. Of course this all happened after the downtime today, lol

The profit UI control center will not pop up , nor the video or sound button when you push them.

Cannot confirm this, was probably related to the mail bug. Try the new release.

I fixed my problem temporarily by renaming the eq2ui_mainhud_mail.xml file in the Fetish folder and copying the same file over from the default folder.

Its ugly as hell but as least I get mail until fetish is fixed.

Placing the default file into the custom folder isn't necessary. Just delete the custom file until it's updated. The game will automatically use the default version if the file doesn't exist in the custom directory.

I got the same error, I just grabbed the mail and openedmail files from the 3.4.8 archive and dropped them into my 3.4.1 installation and the mail windows work fine now. I'm just patching 3.4.1 as needed to keep it unborked until the latest releases settle down and, more importantly, until I sort out what all I've added/changed since I put 3.4.1 in.

i just installed the latest version of profit, which fixed my mail probs, but now i cant chat to anyone. i cant type in any chat fields and cannot click the tab in the chat bar either:eek:

I downloaded the new update and i'm still getting the same error message. And I've tried deleting the custom mail file and repatch and still getting the problem.. only way i can get in the mail is if i switch to complete default, check mail, and then switch back

You must have installed in the wrong folder/have two installations.

I need to update my custom UI too (not Profit)!!

Is there any info out there on what needs to be changed?
Or should I just peek into the default UI file go from there?

That's how we all do it, yes. ;) You need to add the spam page and the delete all button and up the version to 2.0.0.
