Gu60 and Fetish
 

Hey Guys someone maybe a idea how to fix fetish with new fame bar + charackter window and the bg window ?

I crash everytime I go to my zone reuse window. any ideas?

yep i have same :( and i didn`t see my PvP stats or the Fame bar :( hope someone can help to update it soon!

same here...every time i open bg window to check my timers i crash to desktop

Temp workaround...

If you can see adornment slots in tooltips, but not in the actual examine window, erase or rename the file eq2ui_examine.xml in your Fetish directory.

If you crash every time you press Alt-Z, or try to bring up the zone reuse window, erase or rename the file eq2ui_mainhud_zonereuse.xml in your Fetish directory.

Keeps crashing every time I zone.

Yea, I crash every time I zone as well right now.

I was for awhile, then it stopped after 0200 or so last nite.

So I can't figure out if that was Fetish or just zone crashes.

Others were having zone crashes but I don't know what UIs they were running at the time. Some at least I know were running default, but that's not likely useful information.

I am not sure what part of Fetish would cause a zoning crash.

For me, I was crashing while the client was trying to load, long before the UI was displayed.

If you're crashing, try reverting to the default UI on the windows changed in this GU by deleting the files for them. You can find a list of the files changed in Dolby's post here under "Changed." I had no crash issues using Fetish at all doing that last night.

Well so far I have not had the issues described but i did not open the zone reuse window or battlegrounds last night.. but i have not been crashing while zoning *knocks on wood*.

I'll check into it tonight and see what i can find out.. plus yes.. agreed.. Zonx is da troll!!!

Yeh, because I was crashing so much, game was unplayable. Moved Fetish, and using Profit. I don't really like it. I like some things about it, but I want my Fetish. Only reason I switched is because Zonx hasn't even updated since the last changes... I even donated 5$ a while back to maybe light a fire lmao! I miss my group windows.... Supposedly there are 5 buttons in profit vs the 3 in fetish for healing, but i don't know where they are, and the health and power and name lvl reversal just blows imo.....

I switched to drums for now, has an AWESOME stat bar, but I miss my nightfall colors and HP bars.

I just deleted the windows that where responsible (see list in the comparison section) and now I have fetish functionality with some default windows. Its quite playable although I look forward to a complete fetish update. No more crashing during zoning at least.

And just deleted the old fetish files that were changed in the latest update. Works fine now.

On a similar note, and although long over due, I did make a donation to the Big Z for a great UI. Thanks Zonx and keep up the great work!

While i too hope for an update soon i am a little worried that we will be waiting for a while. The last post by Zonx on these forums was on the 30th of March.

I was under the impression (and may be mistaken) that Zonx doesn't actually play EQ2 anymore (and hasn't for a little while) but just keeps this UI updated for all us fans of it. an effort that is greatly appreciated, and, when my bank replaces my credit card I will be making a donation to the "This UI is awesome, keep up the good work" fund.

Looks like we have no one atm who work on fetish ui update :(

Yep I hope he comes up for air and madly codes some fix's for Fetish, donated 25$ to help get started :-)

Can you fix the Achievement window also? I can not go in and change them without going to the default UI.

I'll try and get to the examine window sometime tonight or tomorrow, i coulda sworn I did that but I guess not. I'm not entirely sure whats up but I see the xp window isn't showing pvp stats, so I'll see what I can do, but my time is limited, so that may end up waiting till Zonx gets to it.

GorGusEyes1 - What problem are you having exactly with the AA window? I've not noticed any changes to that window.

When I try to use the Achievement Counsel in my GH I get a popup window that says, "The Popup AchievementMerchant window is not compatible with the current client. Please upgrade your UI mod to a compatible version or revert to the default UI (/loadui deafult)"

I am a healer, so I have been trying different specs for the new aa's. So I use the Achievement Counsel alot.

Yes I know. I tried that, but I am still having the same issue.

As I posted in the sticky thread above, I'm having the same issue, with both that and the main character window. Can't check anything on it, I get a lovely red message.

Still working on the popup window for achievements, hoping to at least be able to attach a fixed xml to a post here for you, if I can't get a full fix up for the patch by this evening.

As for the Persona window, I am in the middle of trying to revert it to Pre-GU60 look, and I don't know where the copy I already uploaded went to. That said, you have two choices: try clearing your browser cache and download the patch again, or delete that file (eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml) from your Fetish folder until I can update the patch with a newer version of the Persona window.

I'm hoping to have the patch updated by later this afternoon or evening, sorry I can't be more help right now. Also, so as not to hijack Zonx's area of the forums, I'd prefer to keep any dealings with my patch within the posting area of the patch. ;)
