There is no password on the zip file. Are you using a 3rd party program to extract it? If so just use the standard Windows zip-folder view
|
Can you add the AA Sacrifice to the list for clerics and also cure curse for healers would be useful
|
Spell Update
-Added Cure Curse for all healing classes -Added cleric AA Sacrifice |
Can't run RaidButtonEditor
When I choose to open _ProfitUI_QuickRaidButtons.txt, it says:
Input string was not in a correct format. Tried few versions of txt, tried it on Win XP (w/ net framework 2.0) and Vista (w / net framework 3.5 SP1) but always getting the same text message. I replaced all files as mentioned in install notes, updated ProfitUI (those files that are to be ignored didn't show up at update), using map updater v1.2.3. Any help would be appreciated. |

If you're still having difficulty what are the steps you go though before you hit 'Open' in the open file window |

2. I am at C:\ folder so I go to EverQuest II\UI\ProfitUI folder, where is this txt located. 3. I hit open. 4. On background I get "Input string.." msg and that's all. Main reason why I want to use your editor is adding rsay while curing curse through raid/grp window and rsay when the cure is not ready. Is there a similar way to do that by writing it directly in txt? I assume it has to be done somewhere in eq2ui_mainhud_raid.xml and eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml by adding something like Macro="rsay Curing Curse on Parent.Target". What and where to put this exactly and where to put macro when cure is not ready? Thanks |
Sadly I have no idea what's causing the problem and I can't reproduce it. I have a feeling you may have a program installed that's interfering with .Net in some way.
As to adding the macro by hand: This editor only edits the 1-5 buttons in the Group/Raid window. Not the 'click to cure' buttons. If you want to add the Cure Curse to 1-5 buttons here are the instructions: http://gm9.eq2interface.com/portal.p...a=faq&faqid=35 If you want to edit the 'click to cure' buttons I'm sure there are instructions somewhere (I've never used them) |
Looks like I'll need to update the spell library with this new update
Don't expect it to come quickly but I'll get everything updated asap (a week or 2... or 5  ) (When it's updated you do not need to redownload the app, it'll update automatically) |
I'm looking at how to change this (if it's possible to edit) but am feedbacking here too.
For the Warden setup, is it possible to remove Hierophantic Genesis and any spell of that line from the click heals on the raid buttons? I feel confident in saying no one uses that in a raid setting enough to give it it's own button- and every so often I'll misclick and hit that, causing me to stun myself and try to turn it off to be able to cast again. For me, it's annoying. I cant be the only one! LOL TY in advance. |
I decided to make a Click to Cure Editor that should help you out. If can be found here: ProfitUI Click To Cure Editor

Error when trying to edit buttons
I loaded this application today to edit my group/raid buttons. However I get the error below. I have copied the four files from the download to a separate directory. My games are on a separate drive E:. EQ with Profit is on this same drive. When I first double clicked the application it could not find the classpells.txt file so I copied it to the Profit UI folder. The the application now comes up. It also tells me there is an update and requires the program to restart. Once it is up, I go to edit the dirge spells and get the error below. The application can not proceed and stops there.
Where have I gone wrong? Are the updated files going to the wrong place? What files are getting updated, could they be like the txt and have to get moved to Profit UI folder? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ____________________________ See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at RaidButtonsEditor.View.Custom.SpellAndMessageView.checkBox1_CheckedChanged(Objec t sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox.OnCheckedChanged(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox.set_CheckState(CheckState value) at System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox.set_Checked(Boolean value) at RaidButtonsEditor.View.Custom.SpellAndMessageView..ctor(EQ2Class eq2Class, RaidButtonData rbd) at RaidButtonsEditor.Control.Controller.ChangeMainPanel(PreviewWindow previewWindow, EQ2Class eq2Class, RaidButtonData rbd) at RaidButtonsEditor.View.PreviewWindow.actionCB_SelectedIndexChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox.OnSelectedIndexChanged(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox.WmReflectCommand(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.3082 (QFE.050727-3000) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- RaidButtonsEditor Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///E:/Button%20Updater/RaidButtonsEditor.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.3053 (netfxsp.050727-3000) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.3053 (netfxsp.050727-3000) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.3053 (netfxsp.050727-3000) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.3082 (QFE.050727-3000) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.3053 (netfxsp.050727-3000) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Did some more testing
When I run the application on the test quick raid file that came with the download, the application works fine. When I use it on the latest version of the quick raid txt that came with the latest profit updates it crashes. I also noticed that the update quick raid file also uses numbers to reference the spells vice the names which are used in the past (and on the one send in the download). Has there been more changes?
|
Well havn't seen the most recent version of profitui as I'd prefer not to download Java for the auto updater. I'll look into it once the non-auto-update version's updated
|
The ProfitUI Team has changers how spells are handled. They now only use the base spell's name, moving the deciding logic to the server. I'll have an updated program up in a day or two
|
Are you sure? I thought Chrislau has it using Spell ID Numbers instead?
|
Hrm that was 2nd hand information.... I guess I'm doomed to download java

I will no longer support this due to the idiotic decision to use the spell id instead of the name. THERE IS NO WAY FOR NORMAL USERS TO LOOK IT UP AND SOE CAN CHANGE ANY OTHER THE VALUES IN ONE COMPILATION
I suggest everyone yell at whoever's working on updating profit ui now. They're idiots for using the spell id |
