Thank you very much :) I leave that there to show just a bit of the work I do and that I was'nt kidding when I said I'd work with someone on the interface. I have a whole bunch of 3d model work I need to get up there as well and tons of new stuff that does'nt look like any of the other peices on the site.

I think we should throw in more punch and pie personally. This stuff is all about art and creative tallent. Showing that you can make something JUST as good as the pros is a sure way to score yourself a job in the future in the place of your dreams!

Sure thing. It might take me a bit though since I've been needing to just upgrade the site in general but upon occasion maybe I can just drop a sketch or something here. If you want my personal opinion ;) I thought the concept art for EQ2 sucked. I could do better. On the other hand, they probably work a little faster than I do so bah! LOL Boy I'd love to work with them *sniff*

I've seen that happen, just look at T.King from EQ he is now working for Sigil. However I already have my dream jobs. :)

By the way... I plan on adding more EQII related titles instead of the forum default ones.

I live comfortably right now doing freelance art but I've wanted to contribute to the video game industry as well with a respectable position. Such as art director or creative director.

You know, there is a way to link user databases between the two sites together with vB 3.x. ;)

I did that with The Druids Grove's sites; WoW, EQII and EQI. (It's a pain in the arse cause vB badly programmed in one aspect, but it's doable)

I just wanted to say, I know I'm new, But, I can already tell I like the company here! It is a shame that people only post for the beta thingie. I even did for that reason. But I'm expecting to see EQ2 interface in EQ2 so let's make sure whoever plans to keep posting meet up there. My husband uses this chat thing for his shooting games, forgot what it was called but we could use that! lol, sorry if that was sudden for a Jr member :D

Just putting in my 2 coppers here. This board will be going nuts here soon enough once the game goes live then people will be saying what ever happened to the quiet days before release. :)

I think as soon as the game comes live alot more people with join and post, its the same with any game, limited exposure during beta and then it explodes when more people are able to play and share experiences and tips etc......punch and snacks do help though :)

I'm all about the chocolate chip cookies. You're liable to have my pet summon strangle you to death if you get between me and my chocolate chip cookies.

I have my own comic book, I'll see if I can get my scanner working again and let you guys check it out. It's not a kiddy type one though, my first issue was called The Beer Run. Each issue is sort of an over imaginative view of me and a buddy of mines high school years and some years after. I gave it several twists though so it jumps into the sci-fi realm here and there... it's just crazy.

I never did get into that whole comic book thing. Friends strongly incouraged it for me but I was more into making ideas (concept artist) than drawing the same thing over and over again.

Hence, I also dislike drawing still life even though I can do it.

I tried doing a comic (web based and otherwise) a few times, and it just didn't suit me... sadly, lately, I haven't done much of any artwork at all, even though I keep meaning to get back into it.

In all honesty though, my artwork is pretty crappy, and is usually just me trying to do visualizations for different stories of mine (I'm far more a writer than an artist ^^; ).

Yea, that's some very cool stuff. Sadly, it takes me a ruler just to draw a straight line... My form of artwork is programming a computer to do the drawing for me. ;)

well I need a ruler too ;) most professionals do. Why trust your hand when a tool can do a better and cleaner job for you? :) When I've done architecture for design firms I always used a ruler. Unless of course I was doing stuff entirely digitaly then I use PS CS which is cake to do a stright line.
