FetishNightfall downloads exceed 100k!

Sometime around new years, the download count for FetishNightfall hit the 100k mark, bringing the combined total of all Fetish mods to over 180k (50% more downloads than the next individual author).

Note: These numbers do not include the many instances of Fetish mods repackaged by other authors. I also try to minimize the number of updates to avoid hassle for the user, which limits the frequency of downloads.

My Absence
 

Wanted to give everyone a heads up...

Recent in-game drama has left my wife and I less than enthusiastic about the game. We have decided to take a much needed break to deal with real life stuff that's been piling up. Not sure when I'll be back to modding regularly but I hope it will be soon.

From what I can tell, LU35 issues are minor and largely resolved by adding the 2 new includes to mainhud.xml.

The only other issue seams to be the missing starting city (Neriak) for new races other than the evil Fae. To work around this prob, I recomend reverting to the Default UI when creating a new (non-Arasi) toon starting in Neriak. Once the toon is created, there should be no prob going back to Nightfall.

For Arasi toons just click past the starting city screen. You don't get a choice where to start anway and will end up in Neriak.

9.2 Patch 1
 

A patch for release 9.2 is available HERE. Issues addressed:

1) Group window member names should now dim/color apropriately when members are out of zone or are the group leader.

2) Guild Bank Settings window should now have the correct size. Also fixed some cosmetic issues with the text entry boxes.

OK is it me or is something mixed up here? When I try to d/l ver. 9.7 I get ver 9.6b, which I already have (from 3/6/08) and am using.

hehe me too... also got 9.6b and the group window is still grayed out..

The zip file is still 9.6b yes, he must have forgotten to actually upload the new zip hehe.

Problem corrected.

Sorry simply missed checking the "Replace with new file" option when uploading.

I have to admit your UI is THE BEST!!! I would not play EQII if it were not for all the hard work you put into this. I cant STAND the basic EQII UI, and well your da BOMB... ;) thank you.

Long time user of your UI, and love it.

The last update you made a change to the personabar to display various stats and it works well, but I do miss it saying how much coin I have on me at a glance, and on a pvp server if your not careful you can loose a good bit in a matter of seconds.

If its not to much to ask, would it be possible to have that as an option to display? Or if you could tell me which lines I need to copy and paste from and older version would be cool too.

Is there any way you could release the "Fetish Classic" skin in a type of add-on able to be affixed to any update version? I genuinely prefer the beige/brown tones to the purple or goth themes available. :D Gratitude given, in full, if so!

O...I think if you copy the "_FetishStyles.xml", "eq2ui_skininfo.xml", and "images" folder, that you pretty much get the skin from the Fetish Classic UI mods. NM my request then...? lol.

Sadly SOE has not yet enabled global colors, so there's no easy way to change stuff like font colors, has to be changed on every text element in every file. I just don't have the time to maintain another full set of files.:(

And yes replacing FetishStyles and Images with those from the Classic set will get you most of the way there. You'll still have blue text in many places. If you have more time than I, you could do search and replace across all the files. Most common colors are #88CCFF, #8899FF, #CCCCFF, #DDCCFF, #AADDFF, #CCDDFF, #CDCDFF.

Glad to see 10.8 out Zonx but I had a question concerning the reskinned threat meter. I already use a different auto attack bar and I was wondering if you included a seperate threat meter w/o the auto attack bar or what I would have to change in the xml file just for it to show your new reskinned threat meter.

If you prefer a separate 3rd-party autoattack timer window, simply delete eq2ui_mainhud_threat.xml from your FetsihNightfall directory.

This should load the default threat meter with graphics skinned for Fetish.
