New Release - 20090420
-Added Dirge AA 'Confront Fear' to the database
-Added the 'Use Item' action.
-Completely re-wrote the Load and Save file logic. Everything appears to be working properly now.
-Added File->Find Errors and File->Fix Errors. Find Errors will display all errors that were found in the raid buttons. Fix Errors fixes those found problems (you don't need to run Find Errors before Fix Errors)

Animist's Transference is a summoner AA heal spell that should be in the list for conjurors and necromancers.

When attempting to extract the 2009424 archive I get a password request to extract the exe file. What is this passoword?

Purities 05-02-2009 12:55 PM

There is no password on the zip file. Are you using a 3rd party program to extract it? If so just use the standard Windows zip-folder view

Can you add the AA Sacrifice to the list for clerics and also cure curse for healers would be useful

Purities 05-16-2009 12:55 PM

Spell Update

-Added cleric AA Sacrifice

Can't run RaidButtonEditor

When I choose to open _ProfitUI_QuickRaidButtons.txt, it says:
Input string was not in a correct format.
Tried few versions of txt, tried it on Win XP (w/ net framework 2.0) and Vista (w / net framework 3.5 SP1) but always getting the same text message.

I replaced all files as mentioned in install notes, updated ProfitUI (those files that are to be ignored didn't show up at update), using map updater v1.2.3.

Any help would be appreciated.

My first guess is that you're not in the correct folder. _ProfitUI_QuickRaidButtons.txt is in the text box by default. You will need to be in the EQ2\UI\ProfitUI folder before you hit open.

If you're still having difficulty what are the steps you go though before you hit 'Open' in the open file window

1. I run RaidButtonsEditor.exe
2. I am at C:\ folder so I go to EverQuest II\UI\ProfitUI folder, where is this txt located.
3. I hit open.
4. On background I get "Input string.." msg and that's all.
Main reason why I want to use your editor is adding rsay while curing curse through raid/grp window and rsay when the cure is not ready. Is there a similar way to do that by writing it directly in txt? I assume it has to be done somewhere in eq2ui_mainhud_raid.xml and eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml by adding something like Macro="rsay Curing Curse on Parent.Target". What and where to put this exactly and where to put macro when cure is not ready? Thanks

Purities 06-14-2009 04:27 PM

Sadly I have no idea what's causing the problem and I can't reproduce it. I have a feeling you may have a program installed that's interfering with .Net in some way.

As to adding the macro by hand:
This editor only edits the 1-5 buttons in the Group/Raid window. Not the 'click to cure' buttons. If you want to add the Cure Curse to 1-5 buttons here are the instructions: http://gm9.eq2interface.com/portal.p...a=faq&faqid=35

If you want to edit the 'click to cure' buttons I'm sure there are instructions somewhere (I've never used them)

Looks like I'll need to update the spell library with this new update

Don't expect it to come quickly but I'll get everything updated asap (a week or 2... or 5  )

(When it's updated you do not need to redownload the app, it'll update automatically)

Arielle N 06-21-2009 12:40 PM

I'm looking at how to change this (if it's possible to edit) but am feedbacking here too.

For the Warden setup, is it possible to remove Hierophantic Genesis and any spell of that line from the click heals on the raid buttons? I feel confident in saying no one uses that in a raid setting enough to give it it's own button- and every so often I'll misclick and hit that, causing me to stun myself and try to turn it off to be able to cast again.

For me, it's annoying. I cant be the only one! LOL

TY in advance.

Purities 06-22-2009 11:24 PM

I decided to make a Click to Cure Editor that should help you out. If can be found here: ProfitUI Click To Cure Editor
