i cant move my toolbars since last update of 05/10/05
 
hello
i contact u on this post because i cant move my toolbar of my own life , the maintained spells , the one with the water breathing eq2sign and skill time,and the group toolbar and the aim life.

i made the hotfix and it work great to help correct the troubles on the new patch but i still cant move those toolbars, they are like stuck behind my chat
i still can select them also if i need to interact on them.

can someone help me about that. i didnt found anything on the faqs about it .

gambling window
 
Just popping in here between reboots - so didnt have time to check pages, but hotfix page has no other updates on it so i am assuming it is still an issue. I cannot close the gambling window when it is open.

Actually, he didn't make a second post about it but the hotfix has been updated with the fix for the gambling window.

issue fixed temporarily.......renamed bank/guild bank/merchant xml files

guild window will nto scroll right at the bottom of members list

this script is amazing like a jet cockpit hehe

and yes thats after hotfix

merchant and repair work now though

can you post a screen shot and point out what u can't move? In case you didn't know. The cast,breath,maintaned and player window is all one winodw. but the hot bars should be moved if you unlock them in window settings.

and also it seems like the guild window isnt scrolling through all the guild members... anyone else having this problem. It seems to have happend to me after the hot patch....

Can't close goblin gambler window
 
Noticed that when I open window with the goblin gambler i can not get rid of window except to log. Am I doing something wrong ? :confused:

The numbers on my power bar are not fitting on the one line and so I can see the mana I have and the slash, however the max power number is carried over to another line and I can only see the tops of the numbers.

any way to fix this?

hotfix 14c
 
Hot fix 14c is up. Fixed the issue of not being able to close the loto window.

I also move the hotfix to the patch download area. You can now mark it so you will be notified when I put up a new patch/hotfix

<include>eq2ui_mainhud_quicklog.xml</include> to the top of the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file after applying the hotpatch as Landiins file has changed, I have also updated it with the new file included already changed, look for version 1.1a.

Ok, i tried even reinstalling the UI, but on the guild member tabs in the guild window... the scroll bar isn't working and will not display the members correctly.... Yes this is after the newest hotfix

Anyone else??? Any hints??

Elmseeker.. The button to clcik on for the quick log, isnt showing up :/ , and yes this is with update 11a...

Sorry, my bad forgot to also update the experience window, all set as 1.1b, may be a few minutes or more before they approve it though. Also Lindiin, I just wanted to let you know that i siwtched it from using the old notes button to using he old Info button instead as there was more room for the text, I only have the word Switch in there but it was running off the edges of the Notes button.

Same problem here, only solution at the moment ist to scroll with te up-/downarrowkey and then click the button to promote. You can also scroll through the window with the scrollwheel on the mouse, but at the moment you click on one of the listed guildies the windows jumps back to the first entry.

Right, i noticed I could do that, but it still doesnt scroll throuhg all of the people on the list, that are on at the time, or however you have the list set. You can notice the difference if you sort by rank for instance with the guild leader at the top and then sort the other way, and I could not scroll down to the guild leader. I'd love to tell you how many people were on-line atm, to see how many people is was cutting off but I couldn't.

Edit: It only show 12 out of the 20+ that are online.

I'm trying to figure this out guys:/ Every thing is assigned correcty to scroll the members page. I'll do a compare with default today and see it they have changed any thing.

Hey Landiin just wanted to say thanxs for all the hard work u put in. I love your UI, makes playing EQ2 so much more better. I know u get alot of gripes here, so i just wanted to make sure you got some props too! :nana:

I just noticed that the help window is bugged. I need to search some database of articles before I can file a petition, but when I click search, no results are displayed and the button that you click to file a petition remains grayed out. Simply deleting the help window file from the custom UI directory fixed this, as usual. Thank you, Landiin, for your continued maintenance of this UI.

Yeah, I think they have, on patch day the default wouldn't scroll and they repatched to fix that the next day or day after.

Lol the scrollbar was moved into the RosterBox page.... BUT ... that dont make no differance if you do that it still dont work properly =(

What I had to do to get it to work was copy and paste the new RosterBox page into my guild window ... then edit it from there and... yeh it works ... very strange as the code in effect was the same ? .... Abit like the conc bubbles prior to LUD 9 .. at times they would go wrong and only a copy and paste of the default would work alough the code was identical.......

Couple of things that I've come across .. now this may have been explained somewhere but I've searched but must be searching for the wrong thing.
Your graphic profiles. How do I change them? If there's a explanation somewhere please point me to it. (feel free to kick me if its really obvious) :)

The Shaders and shadow window .. Is there a easy way to have Shaders and Spell Effects checked on by default?? If this is a quick UI change can you or a helper PM me when you or they have time to explain to me what needs to be changed. Would like to see if I can do some of these changes myself but its still a tad over my head though somethings are starting to make sense (run for cover.. :D )

Now this maybe be attributed profiles, but when I log in its very dark. I have to open the options to color correction and move my gamma up. Now my Gamma didn't move or get reset its still at the value I had it set at before .. rougly 1.55. It happens to act like it resets and only when I log in from a new login. If I do a log to char select it remembers the gamma value. (Is this related to the profiles or this a sony issue?? Its been happening for about 3 weeks now before LU14)

This would be a nice feature. I'm constantly having to change this myself.

Another annoying little bug (or feature, not sure;)):
When using the waypoints on the map, if you minimize the map, the trail goes away. If you close the map (via the X button), the trail goes away. If you simply close the map with M (the map key), however, the trail does NOT go away. Not sure if this is a bug in the map plugin or the UI itself, but it is indeed annoying.


All in all, GREAT UI, I love it, much better than the default. Good job!

Basically you have to modify preset1-3 in the settings/video foloder. I've been working a controle Panel type thing to set this and other settings but I've been slacking on getting this done :(

I can't help you with the map issues thats all eq2maps baby, all I do is change the frame and background on their default window.

UI graphics problem. It's not game breaking but it's annoying.

When trying to use the Broker the window is bugged. No scroll buttons, boxes have weird graphics.

Ditto, looks like the help setup was modified somehow, but I'm getting the same no results after search stuff.
In addition, if it's any help to solving this:
When hovering over the greyed out area, the game tells me I must search for something first, even after submitting the search. So, the search isn't getting submitted, or they've changed the form values somehow? Not sure if it's any help but hey, I tried :P

Again, great ui, now if only Sony would quit screwing around with stuff:(
