Virtually every commonly accessed window will likely break due to the changed handeling of icons. Off the top of my head this includes Hotbars, Maintained, Effects, Target, Implied Target, Inventory, Bags, Bank, Merchant, Broaker and probably a lot more.

To preserve your Fetish layout for future use, also rename your character_server_settings.ini files. When you log in with the default UI, new settings files will be created using the default window layout. Once the Fetish update is out, you'll replace the default settings files with your old ones.

*twitch* *shudder* I have to go 4-5 days without my Fetish... but... I'm addicted! I only recently switched to this UI and I am HOOKED! I will be checking daily until I see its updated (and I will probably squeal with glee when it is)

Do you have any idea when the next release, letting us use Fetish, even partially, will be available? I hate the idea of using stock after being so spoiled with Fetish!

I looked through these post and didnt see anything on this but i cant use the UI i hvae grown to love ever since EQ2 came out due to the new expansion update i no longer have skill bars says my main ui hud is incompatiblle I am stuck using the gay default please help and if i missed where it explains this sorry for my drukeness

Then you didn't look hard enough because on this page and the previous one Zonx already said that the current UI would most likely not work and that he was going to have an update soon for it.

I had been using fetish UI's since the early days of 05, and I really do appreciate the work that is involved in this. Whenever a Live Update (LU) but now called Game Update (GU) is release and I can see some major changes of the windows i use allot, it's time time to use the bulky default.

The only problem I have is how to get the map updater to reconize the default UI until Zonx is able to get a updated version out. But I know this I 'm gonna post it over at the map updater section.

But getting back on track, I had hit this forum early yesterday and i saw the rough time frame for the update nightfall. I appreciate the work that is involved with this UI after all this is a complete UI that had been rebuilt from the ground up.

So my final words to Zonx

"Keep it up Zonx your doing one fantastic job, who cares if it takes a little longer. After all this is one of best darn UI on the EQ2 Interface, that has such extensive work involved in it."

I agree I only use two mods Fetish and EQ2Map.

Both of these require alot of updating and work and even tho it can't be said enough ... Kick ass job and thank you for all your hard work!

I've done this before but my brain just is'nt working,...
as I wait for the update to fetish nightfall...
I have swichted back to the default ui.....
where nothing fits the way it was , no biggie, just need to move things around ,

only thing is I can not find the EQ2 button. is there any way to get it back?

I was saying the same thing when i temporary switch to the default UI, but i found it at the very bottom left corner. If it's not there I have to rember how to bring it up.

This is without a doubt the best UI available and Zonx ALWAYS comes thru. Yes the default rots, But I for one will never have a problem waiting for an update from Zonx. Its always worth it.

Yes, the default UI stinks, but i think after spending an hour resetting all my windows, I'm going to try and keep the ini files for both fetish and the default so I don't have to go through the pain again.

Anyways, ZONX you da MAN! thank you for all your hard work in making what is absolutely my favorite UI. Keep up the great work and know that your dedication is appreiated by all!

Zonx, nothing i can say that hasnt already been said. I dread the day yuo decide its too much work to keep up.

As a long time user of your UI, it becomes a "norm", your UI. And i still surprise myself with how much i get disgusted with the default UI everytime i have to wait for an update. Its very nearly unplayable, the default UI, and i grow too comfortable using your UI long term, that i tend to forget that fact, i think we all do.

I think we all need to (and nearly all of us have) realize, what hard work yuo do on this UI, and i agree, i think maybe yuo shuold take donations. If i could afford it, id be willing to pay a retail cost for this ui, its that good.

I sincearly hope yuo DNT start charging for it, but my god man, yuo honestly could, and definately DESERVE to.... great job man.
