You still can use VLA so it shows that skill also. You should be showing all skills up to PA.

I've been noticing the wierd colors on my target and implied target bars as well

Also been playing with the preset UI configs.. I have 2 I"m playing with. My normal settings and my raid settings which is totally different. Now the UI shows that none are selected, but if I choose button 1 I lag like crazy like somehow I'm on max settings... I got into the options and everything is set to where they should be. I go to the raid settings, they change but lag is terrible. I have to log out completely to desktop and come back in to fix things. Now I can be intown or in the open and happens.. Any ideas?? Is this UI related or should I be posted this particular problem elsew where??

After I installed this mob I noticed that my game graphics are now kind of blurry and I dont know whats going on. The UI looks fine, its just the game screen.

Can anyone help?

The performance panel.... Have you clicked on any of the 1st 3 buttons without setting it up 1st as stated in the instructions?

I noticed the problem when I first started the game with this new UI, is there a way I can load my display settings to how they were before i downloaded this UI?

well one way is to just delete the custom ui folder you made and then re-run the eq2map updater to have it redownload all the files for eq2map.

Well TBH if you have not touched the performace panell then its not the UI that has caused the blur problem =/ .... Its your eq2_recent.ini file that holds your graphics settings....

All I can realy surgest is you uninstall the UI and and load up EQ with the default UI and see how it looks.... and if it not right then correct it from there and try again... This UI (if you dont press the performance panell buttons) will not alter your graphics settings in game..

Try what I said above if you still stuck post a screenshot and let me see what it looks like please .... Maybe I can help more from there :)

I have a little trouble with the UI. I installt the latest version and used the latest character ini file for 1600x1200. When i start the game and log in there are two little bars. One has the buttons for graphic (shaders...) and the other shows casting time. I place them and lock the position. After a restart of the game, these two bars are gone. How can i get them back visible?

You should only have to do this once and they should stick....

To make sure place them where you want

Zone out or into somplace then camp that normaly does the trick.

Hi, i been tinkering with this UI all day, proably downloaded and installed the UI seven times and i cant get it to work. Well... it works, just doesnt look as i expected. I have the ui on my EQ, just the windows arent in right spots, i cant even get some windows showed in the picture to come up. Did i miss something in the config files or something? Please help, AWESOME UI btw

Heya ... have a small request and my utter confusion with the UIbuilder and lost with the code of EQ2 interface (why did they have to change so much from EQ1's???)

Anyhow, Can you add the 4 Effect stats to the player window.. Looking fort he Elemental, Arcane, Noxius, and umm the other one .. maul one :)

I've included a picture of an Idea I have ... doesn't have to be words or anything but if we could get the 4 boxes to 'light' up ... so darker faint colors for inactive and the bolder bright colors for active ...

I play a Templar and a Mystic and having this would help me to see if I'm affected. Those buff bars on top when on two rows is just too much info to check at a glance.

If not then there someone out there willing to spend time over msn chat for an interactive xml lessons?? :)

They are in the player window!

They appear over the casting bar with the correct icon's that have been borrowed / hijacked from profits UI :)

As for the UI not looking the same as in the SS

1. have you read the instructions?
2. all the alt windows files are in folders within the main LAFFS_LITE folder
3. you can either place all windows manualy or use the settings file I have (found outside of the laffs lite folder)

That for your Lite version correct? Any Eta if your going to add these to your Alt Perdition Bottom UI as well? or will copying the player window from lite to alt perdition work as well?

Well tried loading the lite version of the player window into the Alt Perditions version .. the window shows and such .. background is missing .. and I get the effects somewhat .. no icons just the numbers of the effects on me in the casting window ... what else would I need to bring over from lite to alt's to make my background show and for the icons to show?

my powerbar vanished, and I don't know how I can get it back is there a key for that?

I am a UI junkie and yours is THE BEST! Thanks for all your hard work and the quick update.

I also love the hotkey spell names add on, but it is no longer working since the new expansion. I hate the toolkit pop up Sony added and turned it off. I got totally used to having names on my hot keys and I'm lost without them....even if I had memorized them the damn icons have changed so I'd still be floundering.

Missing Casting Bar
 

Hello, since the update on 9/13 required me to update my UI files (had been using Perditions) I figured I'd give this one a shot and see how i like the aditional features. Only problem is, I can't get the casting bar to show.

I used the 1600x1200 uisettings ini file and everything shows in the right spot, but the casting bar does not display, nor does the custom preset bar. I've tried hitting ALT+U as it reccomends in the troubleshooting section of the readme file and nothing visibly changes on the screen. I have tried on a couple different accounts, and tried a couple of times to make sure, and always same result.

I switched my resolution in game to 1280x1024 and used the ini file for that, the windows didn't all line up correctly for some reason, but the casting window and custom preset bar (or performance window I guess it's called) show up atleast...

I have changed some key mappings, and while i don't think I changed this it could be the case, is ALT+U supposed to be set to Player Window? or is there a different window you are trying to toggle? Or is it something that just hasn't been updated/fixed since patch?

In the mean time I'll use the 1280x1024 ini file and adjust it to the 1600x1200 resolution, but would be nice to know why the 1600 default ini isn't working for me (and if it's just me..)

i think you're looking for ALT-U. the small windows that have the presets and shows the nameof the spell/ability. this has been mentioned many times before but thought i'd lt you know it here hehehe.

Yes, it has been mentioned several times, and if you actrually read my initial post you will see that i tried that prior to posting.

When I have a problem i don't just post for help right away, I try and search and find the answer first.

Try the letterbox position somtimes they can get hidden behind other windows because of this...

As for 1600X1200 that mode is a royal pain for me, and basicly I cant work with it for numerous reasons so sorry, Maybe sombody who does use that mode and has all the windows set might like to post there settings file for you to use? ..... Then maybe I could stick it in with the UI folder that would help others..

As for other problems I can only fix one thing at a time guys and its going kinnda slow at the moment but doing my best to get stuff fixed properly asap

...Unfortunatly unlike someothers there is no way I can work on fixing any of this whilst I am at work so its all got to be done on an evening when I get home...

I'll post mine once I get home from work, for people to use.

Note here is my 1600 by 1200 ini file, the hot bars number 123XX (top to bottom), Unzip, rename to server and char name for yours and insert into your main eq2 directory

Well on the way now since I have figured out exactly why all the Zapf fonts change in game as % etc gets updated....

I have now found a way to get rid of those horrible fonts that has been messing stuff up now, well with Laffs Lite they have and since the 2 UI's are based on the same code framework so to speak its only a matter of time before this un go's wrong also...

What could I do to get it back? Tried some shortcuts, but nothing works.

which window are u missing is it the journal one if so try hit atl j and try that if not it mit be jsut a bug we still work on the new file as with this patch has made a lot of change

The missing window is on the right, which has the ammo and bag-slots on it.

Found the problem with that window I had put the wrong mainhud file in the main folder lol

PLEASE DELETE THE ENTIRE CONTENTS OF THE OLD BOTTOMV8 FOLDER BEFORE INSTALLING NEW ONE

Deathripper you could skin up some of the windows that are missing them if you wanted to and I could put them in with the main download and give credit for your work if you wanted, Or you can stick them in the addons part mate, Just a surgestion ;)
