hey hey
Just wondering on status/progress after your move. -Bag sizes -Hide Helmet Button -won't really mention healthbar as it is SoE - Well, mentioned it anyway -Remove/Cure Effect thing on group bar. Also, was there a fight over Infocenter or something for Download points being the reason you removed it? (not griping and never do, just wondering. Was nice to have it integrated into same updates) Does this shirt look good on me? LFG to kick Ogaming's Ex-Owner's behind for doing what they did! Be safe! |

It'll prob be another week before things return to normal and I can get back to the UI. I still have to run video cable to 2 of my kids rooms. No i don't want dish drilling a hole in the side of my walls lol. No there wasn't a fight over download points, He never has even said anything to me about it. Really I just am lazy and didn't want to update it with all the updates that will come with EoF. Plus it's he deserves the download points for such fine work. Umm what did OGameings Ex-Owner do? I've been out of the loop, please to tell:P Oh I'll be glad with this page is full, OMG it's two dang wide! |
OGaming reference
I think OGaming is now under Allakhazam banner of sites (which is owned by the infamous Yantis of plat/PL/account selling fame/infamy). Think he meant that event.

It does work much better but I have five chat windows and can't close them. Newb to UIs but not forums - I searched. I have title bars and most of the extra windows have the close button (1 doesn't still). The buttons click and make noise but the chat windows won't go away. For when I figure out how to resolve that problem - How do I get the hot buttons in the lower right of the UI the way it is in the screen shots? |
Well frack! LU30 goes live and the only URL I can access from home is my ISP's lol. I have the updates just can't update them. I'll zip them up tonight and get em to Pilot to put on the updater server.
I think all that needs to be done is just add <include>eq2ui_mainhud_contest.xml</include> to the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file and <include>eq2ui_popup_hotkeyoptions.xml</include> to the eq2ui_popup.xml file. |
Quoted from Features listing:
Quick Log: lets you change from character to character with out camping to the server select screen. Easily configure up to 10 characters in the control panel. Unquote I have looked around and can find no way that this is possibly going to work for me. I have gone to the tab and changed names and servers to match my character names and server, but next time I run the AUCP, it rewrites my changes back to default characters on Oasis server. Am I doing something wrong or expecting something that is not possible any longer? I also cant see how this works while in-game. Nowhere in the list of options on the camp screen in your UI does it allow me any choices other than the standard Camp to Desktop, camp to character select, camp without *blah blah blah*. Any experienced users who can guide me thru enabling this feature, please respond :). Thanks. |

As stated in my post a couple above I can't get the UI to go on my screen properly so I am not yet using it but did notice similarly that it would not keep changes made in AUCP for names and servers. |

My connection issues seem to be gone now :) Now I have to find a way out of this procrastination mood I'm in! lol |
Quick question
I run the UI at 16000 X 1024 @ 85 hz and it does great, however anytime I go to a windowed mode to get to the internet, or do something else, if I come back to the game, go into options and try to go full screen again my screen is all jacked. The graphics part is a lot smaller and shift to the left. I have to restart the game for it to look normal again. This wasn't ever an issue before on the default UI and has always been an issue using this UI. Just wondering if there is a setting in the AUCP or something that I'm missing that will allow me to go back to full screen and having it look correct (the same way it did before going to a windowed mode). Thanks for your time.

I have tried this approach as well, still does the same thing for me :(
|
The reason the windows are all moved around is because your window game rez is smaller or larger then your full screen res.
|
Ok, so is there something that I can do about this? Or not because the window is naturally smaller than the screen and can't be at the same resolution?

I will see what I can do to get closer to the SS results. BTW is there a file I can save/backup so if I again decide to remove the UI I can have everything go back to the way it was before they UI? |
UI Setting Issues
I am trying out your UI for the first time. I tried using the default settings for the ui at 1600X900 and it is having issues with the hotbar settings and missing the bottom left chat window. I tried the 1600X1024 and I have the same issue. I deleted my old UI's and all my settings and tried again and I am still having issues. There seems to be settings mishapps in it. I can fix them but I thought I would tell you. Also I wanted to know if I add another system in for the broker if that will make things get messy? I like the advance system from Fetish. In either case the installer is really nice and props there. Cant say I will stay with this but I thought I would give it a whirl. Thank you for the hard work on this. There is alot :)
P.S. For the wide screen nuts like myself. I have a 20.3" and it has a rez of 1680X1050. I found that the 1600X900 works better then the 1600X1024. Faldiin Oasis |

Click cures
Landiin,
Just curious, what happend to the click cures?? I miss them |
eXtreme's Image files
Hi Landiin,
I have a question regarding the images used: Have you ever thought about using the .PNG format for the images? I've often wondered if they wouldn't load faster with better clarity and the file size might be reduced (which would improve load time and performance). |
End of a good thing?
First of all, happy holidays!
Now then. I've used this UI almost since it became live on eq2interface. But I think it's end is near for it. Maintanence has almost ground to a halt, have to use other people's components to fix things not fixed in LU29/30. All of a sudden .ini files are reverting to raw. On both my boxes and on guildmates as well. Have had to delete that character's ini file and let it replace it with selection from a near same ini file from another character then once I have it set again, Back it up. eXtremeUI was the gem of all interfaces. I got almost my entire guild (200+ accounts) using it. But I quit when I had to play techsupport almost on a daily basis. Sure, when a LU comes out, it may take a day or two to fix up, and we've understood and waited and patched. But it's still not been updated since before LU29. I'll watch and wait... don't let it die |

As for the UI, what problems are you having? I did notice 1 problem with the pet window missing graphics and found out it was a syntax error in the XML file. I've corrected that (and I've attached it to this post). I know the 'click-to-cure' is missing and it's been posted, the bags are large and that's been posted as well. One of the other things I've noticed (but I don't think it's eXtreme's fault) is the compass. It doesn't point in the right direction. The direction doesn't correspond with the /loc. What have you found? |

What have I found. It's all been listed and I do come and check daily for updates. Yes, I know there was a move involved. Just seems I'm now using the eXtremeUI shell, with a ton of non eXtremeUI enhancements mismatching and regular UI things (frostfell, but usually have to use Regular UI stuff for the temp events) to make it work. People in the guild just look at the Control Panel notes for what's going on. Late November was the last thing said, so they are starting to abandon it. I just want this to continue on. |
