LFG window no worky
 
I have the full elite UI compilation loaded, and since the latest patch I am not able to see the new LFG window. It comes up with a border and some icons but that's it.

I re-downloaded and installed the latest Elite UI program and it didnt do anything.

Is there any fix for this? Anyone else having this problem?

it's in there somewhere I asked the same question all you have to do is edit one file w/ like notepad and then add 2 lines at the very bottom.. I can say that it dose work.. I just don't remember the 2 lines.. look in this thread to see if you can find my ? the person that answered had the correct solution:nana:

These are the 2 lines ya want. I couldn't figure out how to direct to my post about it so just copied.

works like a charm. Be sure to use notepad or could have problems.


Now for the next thing. I seem to not have a stats window when clicking stats in inventory. It shows a black window. What window name is it for that window to show? I might of messed it up a bit when adding changes.

yes thanks for helping that person too.. your edit worked wonders.. I'd missed this UI so much when I tried a new one b/c the lfg wasn't working at that time.. but ya.. your help saved mine and this person's ui :) thanks for your help

I love this UI, but there a few features I would rather have included.
So, I found a 'fixed mass bag' ui file and threw it in the Elite UI folder.....

But.... every time i load up the game with that file installed, the game crashes before even getting on my toon.

Is there a special way to put more addons in the Elite UI folder or replace certain files???

Any help would be appreciated

I seems the latest release of Fetish is causing a game crash with the browser window.

I recommend updating to the following Browser window.

Noob question: when I first loaded the UI, I had the window for the self-->target--> implied window, but now I can't find it or any way to bring it up. Is there a command to bring up this window?

Hello..

I miss the NightVision Button in the Commandcenter...its soo dark :(

Is there a chance to get them? I love the UI and the Center....but need the Button "gg"

To add the dressing room to the current Eliteui package...

Edit eq2ui_inventory.xml to add this line near the bottom:

Check your installation. Are you modifying the Compilation in any way? To me it sounds like you have not used the enclosed mainhud.xml. Let me know. It's best to install the UI package first. If you know what you are doing, then add your changes, if not I would not recommend modifying the Compilation.

Hopefully this helps others as well. I had this same issue and had to go into options to manually turn off "Keep Main HUD visible" and then do an Alt-U to bring the Self > Target > Implied window back. When I just did an Alt-U, it said "That window cannot be hidden" so I needed to do the above. I finally turned the "Keep Main HUD visible" switch back on to hopefully lock it in place once more.

Hey. I recently downloaded your UI and ran into a problem. about that known bug, the EQ2 button to go to options and all that wont show up.. It shows up on all characters BUT one! I have restarted EQ2 many times, restarted my PC and nothing changes.. Please help! By the way, I love the compilation.

Game Crash on LFG Window
 
I love this UI, It is perfect except it crashes my game on the LFG screen. I cant get it to stop. Any assistance would be great. Thank you in advance.

alt-z is supposed to bring up the zone reuse timer window. when you do that though, it says that it is not compatible with the current UI. might wanna take a look at this and see about fixing.

Hello,

I'm trying to install this UI for the Test server only. To be honest i'm not even sure this can be done. I'm using the same instructions as for normal install, but putting everyone into eq2/TestServer/UI and so on. Install goes ok, however when i start up the game, it gives me an error right before it gets to Character Select.

Everquest 2 has encountered a fatal error and must close.
verify="D:\test\eq2\game\client\src\NCS2.cpp(1868): Missing required window: NCS2Slideshow

Any ideas?

Thanks for the great UI, but I've encountered a couple problems with LON...

1. On the initial LON screen (which is a window in EQ2) there are no words, only symbols (Book, Shield/Sword, and Cards)

2. LON will not open windowed... it only opens fullscreen on top of EQ2, everyone I know who doesn't use EliteUI can play it windowed.
