Inventory Overflow Problem
 

Hi Landiin,

Don't know if you know it or not but when an item is in the 'Overflow' you can't right-click it or drag it into inventory. I"ve edited the 'eq2_inventory_inventory.xml' file and now it's working so I'm attaching it to this post.

You might want to compare what you have to what I uploaded because everytime you run the AU it downloads the file again and then it breaks the 'Overflow'.

It was fixed a couple of days ago, but I forgot to update the MD5 checksum of the inventory window. The one being pushed now should work.

How do I set it so I have default UI on one character and eXtreme UI on another?

My inv. was overflowed and ive made room in bags but i cant seem to drag the overflow item to the bag from the Inv box its between my box slot and food slot any ideas ive logged and zoned nothing works any ideas

Ever since I've been using your kick ass UI I haven't advanced in utility skills such as Safe fall and swimming. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

You can't. Well you can't and it be automatic. In order to use deferent UI's for deferent character you have to change the UI tag in eq2.ini.

When was the last time you updated/ran the AUCP? It should be sending down a working version of the inventory now. If you updated or update and it still don't work let me know. Aeromier posted a working version a phew post back if the one the AUCP is pushing isn't working. I'm still not home so I can't test anything as of yet.

Press the L key and click on the utilities tab. 5 to 1 your skills have went up, but the message is turned of in options.

Negative ... I'm not that big of a noob ... I'm currently at level 59 with my monk and both my swimming and safefall are around 165. No matter how many things I jump off of it never gets any better. My crushing/slashing/pierce stats do improve but nothing on the "Utility" stats.

Hmm. I'll look at mine tonight but I'm almost positive mine are 200+ and going up (lvl 49). I'll check into it though for sure.

Well actully you could do it with a batch file.

copy eq2ini2.bak eq2.ini
eq2.exe

You would have to set up the 2 ini files at first but after that you just run the batch files to backup(which really isn't needed) and copy the player's ini file of the ui that you want to play to the current ini file.

Can you make the inventory window unhideable or up by default?? and a small reminder to swap the code for the power regen and health regen values.

My inventory window is always up when I load in. I have exp this issue with other windows though and it seems to fix itself if I /camp to char select then exit from there with that window in the state I want it in when I come back.


Keep forgetting about swapping them two around.. grr..

Rejoice I Finlay fixed the power/health regin reversal :P

Only trouble is I keep getting them mixed up now that they are fixed lol.

Time and Date
 

I was wondering if there was a way to have the time/date shown? I know you can mouse over the moon/sun graphic. Maybe make it so it is a toggle thing. Click the moon/sun graphic to see time/date. Click again to go back. If such a thing is possible...

Besides that, it is amazing that you have everything together in a single package and as fine tuned as they are. My hats off to you! :nana: :nana:

Thanks diz, I tried to supply every bit of info I could with little effert needed to see it. I'm a min/max'er myself so having every thing out there helps:)

Now about the time and date; Load up the game and look at your screen closer. Game and RL time and date are there. If your inventory slots/bags are showing in the inventory then you can't see it.

They are just above the zone name.

Once again you show your skill. Hats off to you brother. Now if only I could get my skill with eq2map in par with yours here.

Problem
 

My Aucp says that eXtreme is not my default UI and that i should go to settings and fix it, what is it that im supposed to do? Can someone pls help?

Same here. When I click go to settings nothing happens. When I try and pick the settings option from under the AUCP menu, nothing happens. When I load the game, it's using the default crappy UI.

It should open the settings window when you click yes set it to default. In the event that it does not; Click the main menu item AUCP->Settings. When that window opens Click on client config and then under the eq2.ini group click on the default button, then the save button. This should set eXtreme as the default ui. If it does not let me know.
