Sorry, I Don't know how that pertains to the UI.

I downloaded extremeUI V2, but immidiately after I installed it, my AntiVir programm just started and reported the trojan virus TR/Dldr.Zlob.VV.2 in the uninstall/install/exe files of the AutoUpdater.

Any comments on this...?

I've decided to switch to my conj for a bit of fun

About a week ago I've dinged 50. But I didn't ... I got the xp and it put me over the 100% mark .. was like 100.8% ... so I didn't ding.. then I was told I had to switch to the default UI to ding .. so did the /loadui default .. killed one thing and behold the ding.

now the same thing happened with 51 .. I had to load the default inorder to ding 51 ... annoying ..

Is there a fix to this? Is this a UI issue or a Sony Issue?

It's not a eXtreme UI thing, it's a SOE thing. Chances are if you would of killed that one thing you would of dinged using eXtreme. SOE has a bug with rounding so it will report 100 but you really hat 99.5 or >.

No clue! You may be having something that is attaching to them files on your end. Every update I do a scan with the latest update using AGV. This site scans for virus/Trojans, the hundreds of users that use extreme scans and your the only one to of ever report any thing like this. Or your anti virus prog blows /shrug.

I have seen this too.....but all I did was kill one more thing and I dinged.

And it makes no sense to me why your UI would have the slightest thing to do with the amount of EXP your character has gotten or is reporting back to the servers. If there is it really sounds like a possible exploit to me /me edit UI to report each MOB killed = EXP * 9999999999 then log onto n00b island and bang out a few 70's to sell on SE.

Been doodling with the exp window a bit trying to work in the new AA stats. Try out this exp window and let me know what you think or any ideas.

Got a question/comment.

With the target and implied target windows. When you have them both up, when they are split [target|implied target] The windows are the exact same size jsut part of the window goes transparent.

Is there any way to make the implied target window resize?

The reason I am asking is that you can't hover over the targets buffs/debuffs and see the mouseover becasue of the transparent window. And if you move them it automaticly goes back to the original setup.

The new broker window looks great too. Keep up the great work.

Oh never gave thought to the tooltips of the target window. I'll set the implied targers main page so it dosn't absorb any input and that should let the mouse over/tooltips work. If it dosn't I'm sure I can find a work around:) Maybe merging these two windows would be a better path, I'll do some tinkering with them.

I have been trying for nearly a day to D/L the Extreme UI setup. I have it on several other pc's, but just bought a new one ( with a 26" widescreen !)....But everytime I try to install I get this error " Error : Downloading the AU. Try again later "

I thought it might have been a corrupt D/L...but I tried deleting and redownloading with no success...

Just for clarity sake; You are able to download the installer exe fine from this site but when you run the installer exe you get that error or you get that error when trying to download the installer from this site?

I just downloaded the installer, ran it and it installed extreme with out any issues.

I will be taking the audio player and external log parser windows (never been fully developed) out of the AUCP as not many use them and there are plenty out there that can do the job better.

If there are any strong ejections to this, now is the time to speak up!

correct...it also said in the log about failure to connect to host.

if it helps any to clarify...when the log displays on install that is suppose to show a list of changes..it gives me a Internet Explorer screen that is blank ( the same one you would get from usinf IE and couldn't connect to a web page )

Point your browser to http://extremeui.equinoxgaming.com/ and see if you connect/get the log/update note page. This is the page that the AUPC displays when you are on the Extreme tab.

It's almost sounding like something is blocking you from this site. Make sure if any firewalls are activated that the AUCP has access to access the web. All it should need is http port 80.

Is this new computer on the same hub & router the other computers are on? Does the updater work on the other computers?

Yes, I have 3 pc's on the same router...and the other 2 work fine. I just tried to click that link and couldn't get through there either. I will try to allow an exception in firewall.

I attempted to allow the exception. I even tried to allow eXtreme UI as a program exception, I manually added port 80....no go. I'll try to find a solution, if you have any more suggestions they are much appreciated.

I don't know, that link is just a basic web page so I don't know why it's blocking that domain.

Something must have changed in my router, atm I can't get eXtreme UI to come up on this pc ( kids pc).....I will attempt to figure out the firewall in my router...

Landiin I have over the last Versions of your AUCP problem with the EQ2Map update.
If I use the option "updating on startup" in the CP-options, than the map isn't updating and under EQ2MAP-Menu the "update" is grayed out.
But a manual update when I not use the automatic one, works perfect but is circular.

Ok I'll look into that, thanks for reporting that.

I have the same problem... Manualy updating eq2maps works but not if I tell it to autoupdate on start.

Been useing ExtremeUI for about 3 months and find it Fine, Grat Job.
The other day i had to send a bug report and once i filled the report out i couldnt send it due to the send button was greyed out, i asked a Guild mate who uses extreme also and his does the same ,i asked a diff person who uses SOE ui and it works fine.
Donno if this been reported srry if it has & hope ya can fix it

inventory window not compatible?
 

HI all..just downloaded Extreme to my satisfaction. Got it up and running..and the only thing that i seem to be missing is the target window in the middle. And i keep getting an error saying that the inventory window is not compatible with the current client. Any quick fixes for this? Any help is appreciated. =)

Oops thought I had fixed that, will go back and get it it when I up the inventory.
