Aye that is a known bug from SOE, for some reason it turns the frame and progress bar them colors:/ normaly happesn after you LD or die.

Inventory Store
 

When bring up the inventory store to do a search the class defaults to your class and it affects what you search for when you type something in to search for or your in ur house and having your store open and searching on item you have highlighted. When you have the default set to your class it will not find the item most of the time. If I change the class to any it will find it.

can you change the default to be any?

you should incorporate some kind of updarte button on the ui itself to automaticaly update it and extract files to where they are supposed to go without having to check for updates and download them and extract them ur self....just a suggestion would be convienant i do love the UI tho its awsome flows very nice!!

NPC level and class
 

Hey Landiin,Great job,looks sweet.just one prob.on my UI.When I con.on a NPC or PC it says next to there name (Level 100 Shadowknight).
Is there a fix posted that I misses or am I the only one with this problem?

That is an issue that he is aware of and I believe is working on :). From what I have seen it has to do with the fact that SoE only supports 1 con type now they dropped the other one :(

I'll see what I can do, being the game sets that option and not the ui itself I don't know if I can but I'll try.

Alt+Enter windowed mode
 

I believe I found a issue, when using Alt+Enter to go to windowed mode, when you return to full screen, the chap tabs wil will disapear, and and stop working, some tabs become unclickable.

This is an SOE issue also, It seems if you have a lot of tabs, its easy to confuse it:( I have recreated this issue with the default UI many times. I suggest you /bug it at every chance.

Added the pet/player target issue fix to the hotfix.

I have desided to make the backgrounds on most windows none see through. If you want them seethrough like me, just lower the fade in the window settings. Doing this should make every one happy.

CSM Tool
 

How do you get the CSM work? I have CSM loaded but the MP3 player or the other commands seem not to be linked to the program.

When adding a Guildlogo 1024x256 the log overlaps the text in Examine window for spells, etcv.

I have CSM loaded and reading logs, I've also selected my play list for music, but the MP3 play in the interface wont control it. also the Options button in the CSM tool when click doesnt deplay anything

Help and Pet controls
 

The pet controls are not working in I can not toggle them off or on

Also the help window does not work in the KB tab it lets you search but when you click on the topic nothing happens.

There is no reason to have mulitble uisetting files. you can set it to one uisettings file for all char.

In your eq2_recent.ini file look for cl_uisettings_file . and replace what ever it has there with your main toons uisettings file and delete the rest of ur ui_settings file and the game will use the one that this points to all the time. Mine looks like;

cl_uisettings_file steamfont_landiin_eq2_uisettings.ini now ever one of my toons uses this one uisettings file. :)

CSM is kind of fubard atm:/ My bad, I forgot to include some of the files in the new ui build. I'll get them in there for the next update along with the new control commands.

OK, cool.....maybe you could have an option that says "Would you like to enable one eq2_uisettings.ini for all charaters?" That would be helpful, but I am making the edit now.

Sorry originally posted this in wrong place, not sure why lol, anyway arena windows aren't working for me, when in the arena or entering the arena the window where you can select team and champion is blank except for 3 buttons at the bottom, please see attatched screeny. Thanks!

UI hanging
 

Starting to get these Loading UI resources .. black screen and nothing happens .. my char is in game ... I'm glad I have the mod that allows me to talk when loading ... but its happened when I zoned into RV then again back into EL
I've rebooted my machine to get out first time .. didn't realize I could camp out .. I can talk in group, all my windows seems to work but jsut a black screen with that bar that isn't progressing ...

not sure what could be causing it.

Its your UI.. minus a couple hot fixes .. seems your target bars are missing the graphics and all I get are black boxes .. (so using original target) (using hotfixed implied)

Using the chat while zoning mod and the autolog in mod (only 2 extra in the UI) I've had np with this till I went into RV then back again into EL ...

Anyone noticing this?

THis is happening to every one I know or 85% of the people in my guild, they get hung at loading resources. Give SOE time and they may or may not fix it.

Now that I can test these screens, I'll go take a look. The one time I did the chapion arena seem to work, but I realy didn't know what I was doing lol.

Yeah, this is a known issue because SOE only supports 1 con syle now, just target something and click the con button until the correct info shows. You should only have to do it once.

Cool, oh btw I looked at them in the UI Editor and they show same in there, the boxes can be hilighted but they are empty...not sure if this is a possiblt templating issue or something?

You can get the hot fix that fixes this and other little issues.

Tabs scrolling
 

Possible bug -
On the 1280x1024 resolution (possibly others but haven't tested), the buttons that allow scrolling to see tabs off-screen don't work completely correctly. In particular, it seems that the right one does, but the left button stays greyed out until you move to the rightmost tab, then it is active for one click, moving your view over to the left one. Basically, if you switch tabs over to the far right, the tabs on the far left are inaccessible until you log out and back in.

I hope this makes sense; if not, I will try to elaborate more.

Great ui skin overall, I really like it.

One more thing, it looks like the arena window is missing information. I think there is supposed to be more info shown, like the names of the competitors, scores, and a means of changing your champion. Thanks

You don't need to log off, just resize the chat window and the button will be available again.
Btw., this bug has been postet before and seems to be a bug with the game itself, not just the UI.

I have been using Extreme for a while and I love it. I do miss something thoughm, is that in version 1.x I had a 1900x1200 setup file that is not in the distribution file. Do you plan to release one ?

No I can't, My monitor will not go that high. :( Sorry. Some one sent that usetting file and with the new windows it no longer works.

Sorry I haven’t got any out yet. I haven’t had a lot of time between lvling again and the kids after school functions. I'll get to them though.

My monitor does support that mode but the game doesnt list it, did you have to do something special to get into that mode?
