Foreign files list or exclude file list? They shouldn't be showing up in the foreign file list. Double check what list they are in, if they are in the exclude file list and getting over wrote somthing is wrong. I tested on mine and they are not getting over wrote. If they are in the foreign file list delete them via the delete button and reupdate the UI.

There shouldn't be any files in the foreign file list unless YOU have added a mod by you or someone else to the UI.

I updated the infocenter last nite to the most current one and updated the file list. Are you having the trouble *now* (as in 3:35pm cst)? I ran the updater on my comp and it ran fine after the update so let me know if your are having this issue still.

I'm having troubles now. as of 2:35pm MST.. I was on Vista Beta2 on a 64bit platform ... I'll try it now with XP on a 32 bit platform and see how that goes.

Installing from scratch .. on either platform
I get a disconnect on the 118th file
I close down the updated and start over
21 files into that is the T1F.txt where it just hanges.. on either platform.

Also .. nothing major Spelling error you have Receaving files ... should be Recieving files :)

Edit : Rebooted and I was able to continue on XP .. I'll try Vista later on and let you know

Nothing is in the foreign file list now & nothing is in the excluded list. I uninstalled everything & tried it all over again with the same results. I am sure I am missing something easy just can't figure it out.

Ok now add aucp_QuickCharSwitch.xml and aucp_Notes.xml to the exclude list. You will find them in user_settings directory inside the extreme directory.

I have updated it several times and still when I open up the map inside EQ2 I only get the map...

make sure eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml isn't in the exclude list. If it is remove it. That's the only thing I can think of that might block it. It shouldn't because the map updater shouldn't look at the exclude list. I totally removed eq2map from my install, opened up the game, seen the default map, logged out ran the updater and logged back in and EQ2MAP was there.

can anyone tell me how I can set it up so I don't have to turn off my wide screen every time I log in. I went to options and the the wide screen and turned them all the way down and it is fine for when I play but then I log off and come back in later I have to redo it all over again.

In the AUCP go to the ui settings client config. Under eq2.ini find the line that says something Like letterbox_amount and set that value to 0, click on save and you should be good from then on.

What do you guys think of the new broker window? Any thing you guys would like to see added?

It isnt on the exclude list. But I think I found out what was wrong... EQ2MAP isnt autoinstalled with extreemui? since I cant see a folder named eq2map.

it wont let me open my inventory when i press I nothing happens

Check in options and make sure I is still set to open and close the inventory. Also note there isn't the normal inventory in extreme, the inventory is the 3rd window on the top HUD.

No I doesn't come with eq2map but once you tell the AUCP to update eq2map it installs it adding the eq2map folder and all content.

I personnally love the new broker window. Great Job. I would like to see a reset button put in on the buy window.

Updated the Market window today; added a Clear button to the buy tab that will clear the Search field when pressed.

I know you said you updated it today to fix the window stacking, but I have downloaded what you say is the fixed version and the problem still exist. It is possible you didn't upload the right file? I examined the contents of both zips I have and they are identical, the file dates and times match. One I downloaded at 5pm pst today and the other at 10:30pm pst.

Also notice that the "Find" button seems to have an extra piece of artwork on the left side of the button on the buy tab. None the less its still a great addition to my existing interface.

I may of not of included the correct file. How ever I did just update again and checked the zip I uploaded and the market file has a date and time stamp of 6/26/2006 03:05:35 AM. So when it is approved it should be good. If not let me know and I'll see what I forgot to put in on the live file.

( ACK! :eek: The window stacking issue was still there and is there in the new update. I have fixed it but it hasn't been approved from my last update so I can update this fix. I'll do that when I get home but for now I need sleep)

For the Extreme users you should get this file as soon as you run the AUCP along with a new file named include_inventory_market_levelclass.xml.

So I am clear we are on the same page the new files time 3:05 still has the window stacking issue, but the clear button has been moved out from under the find button :)

Correct! But lol the newer update equi_inventory_market.xml file dated 6/26/2006 12:19ish PM should have the stacking issue fixed. ( I hope )

Now I am just harrassaing you:) You surely did a great job fixing the stacking windows and the clear button :) Now only one more thing, you have t7 rare harvestables in the pull down menu list as t6. It goes t6 (which are the t7) then its goes t6 (which are the actual t6) . Also on the common search pulldown you have mostly items that are no longer in the game :) Aren't you glad there are idiots like me who have worked in Quality Assurance my entire employable lifetime who notice silly stuff.
