Great UI, one bug in the group window though -- no matter what the health and power bars show (which are themselves accurate), the percentage indicator always reads 100 percent. I've seen this behavior on two different installs of EQ2.

Updated AUCP and still get this...
NO ACCOUNT FILE FOUND (Filename ACCOUNTNAME_characters-eu) --------------------------- Path Searched --------------------------- C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II Copy this window by pressing CTRL + C, the paste it into a post on the extremeUI forum --------------------------- OK --------------------------- |
There is an issue with the settings window opening and freezing the AUCP, working on it now. Thanks BornAgains for pointing this out:)

wow what a busy day!!
The AUCP should be working again:P Between a pain in the arse bug and my internet dropping when updating files.. ROAR.. Any way, if your loader.exe file is causing any error( thank my ISP for that ) just install again. You do not have to uninstall just reinstall over the top of the current one. |
wd Landiin, now all works very good here
thank you for fixing that up |

Landiin,
Have you had a chance to look at the bug submit window and see if there is a coding issueing with why we can't submit bugs when non-extremeUI uses can? |

I'll check into it and see whats up. For the time being copy over eq2ui_mainhud_help.xml from your default folder to your extreme folder and add that file to the exclude list so it doesn't get updater with a copy of the error in it. |
Quick question. Do any of thos background addons still work for this? I noticed some are old so I thought I'd check. Thanks

this my first UI for EQ2 and for some reason, on 2 different computers, I'm not getting ANYTHING that looks like the screeen shot...maybe I'm missing someting ..please help attached is a screen shot..please let me know if you need something else to fix me up.
UPDATE: dee dee dee! I figured it out....after it updates and the updater ask if you want to set eXtreme to the default UI, not only do you need to select the screen size, and the char, but you also need to save it both under dafault 1 and another selecton on the same screen....after I figured this out...it worked like a charm....this UI gets the bana split award.... :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: WAY TO GO!!! |

I just installed this UI and I'm having a problem... it looks nothing like what it should. Windows are out of place and some look too big, some too small.. I'm not sure what's wrong. I tried putting windows in default location and it's just a jumbled mess! Please help, this UI mod looks great but I'm far from having it work right for me. Thanks in advance,
-Ashuno Here's a screenshot so you can see what I'm trying to say: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2...20000051sy.jpg |

You have one helluva nice lookin UI here. However, I guess there's just too much "stuff" for an odd resolution user like myself. :(
I use 1360x768 (largest my monitor will support) and if I even just lay everything out where I can see it all... a) it doesn't fit even remotely close to being right and b) it looks like I'm looking through some kinda adroid visor. I get about 1/4 of usable game space lol. Oh well :) |

Fantastic UI, and the AUCP addition is extremely helpful, as is all of the information you have incorporated, as the combination of the other features (too many to list, but I suspect you know what they are *grins*).
I have read in previous posts that you do not use the notes section too often yourself, but I can see it being used a lot for notes on raid scedules, personal details for crafting requests, etc. as a very useful tool. The problem with the current setup however, and the way you must update it from the AUCP beffore launching the EQ2 client is that a pen and paper is still often required. I have no idea how difficult this request would be to do, but I am sure others would find it useful as well if you could find a way to add a "save notes" button, or "add note" button to the notes section itself to update the aucp_Notes.xml file without having to exit and restart. Currently, the Notes button itself in the UI has a bubble "not incorporated yet" (or similar, I cannot recall the precise wording), which leads me to believe you are working on something, but it currently does work if you create the note in the AUCP and then call it up once inside the game. Now, if we could add/edit notes from within the game.... time to change my shorts. A second suggestion I have thought about is an addition to the large number experience display. Once a character is level 70 (current max) it becomes a null window with a big ol' zero and nothing more. Would it be possible to add options to change it to other experience types, such as AA experience or guild experience? (AA seems the most useful, if it is just one, that would be my personal choice) That way we could still have the AA viewable with a second type available in the bar itself. I would not think the gain information bubble would be required for the large display (with the number of collections, quests, etc that the bar AA display currently has), and I also realize that the AA is only reported in full percentage ammounts. Anything along these lines you could do would be great, what you have done so far is definately grade A work, thanks for all the hard work you have put in to this UI. :) |
Unforchantly there isn't any way to get text/data out of the game and into a file while in the game in a easy notepad type thingy. Hmm I could use the parser part of the AUCP to parse out lines to add to notes. Something along the lines of:
@NewNote : would trigger the parser to create a new note @Note PK Jim next time I see him. : The @Note would tell the parser to add the rest of the line to the note @EndNote : would tell the parser to end and save the note. However you still wouldn't be able to see that note in game untill you exited the game and came back or play craps and try loadui :P. About the large exp numbers; that is something I have been planing on doing is allowing one the ability to cycle though the many exp types. Its just a matter of having time to do it. With summer here and running the kids from field to fild, city to city for ball I hardly have time for anything else. |
some help please
I already know I am going to ask the most repetetive questions....but I just cannot get it. I have used mods, set up mods..hell,even made mods....burtI just cannot get this working. I read through some of the pages here....maybe not enough.
It is loaded, it is showing up ingame..I have a black box at the bottom of the screen, one at the top...I have some of the new menu's..but NOTHING like I see in the pics. I admit, I am new to the EQ series....and right off I didn't like the UI ( probably why I didn't play before). But after I saw the setup pics for this UI I decided to play. If there is a tutorial for dummies, could someone point it out ? Like I said thouygh, it is showing up ingame...so don't redirect me to the tutorial on how to load general UI's....just help with config on this UI...ty.. |
There was a thumbnail one page back that loooks like my UI..here
